This has been the consistent weak link over the last 15 years. They aren't world beaters (and man do they make stupid penalties) but they have made improvement this year.

Minnesota was the 4th ranked team in the B1G against the run and we shredded them. Martinez also generally had time to throw.

Very solid game by them.
Yep. That’s two weeks in a row they have played very well.

I was impressed as well. I don’t think Minnesota’s defense will truly be 4th against the run when all is said and done, but our OLine showed up today.

Yes, they played 10,000 times better than recently. Gotta give credit where it is due.

the consistency from play to play and drive to drive by the OL was outstanding yesterday. A big part of our earlier troubles was that key mistakes were happening and we just couldn't sustain drives. Yesterday, not only the OL, but the WR's and TE's were blocking very well - making average gains long gains as well.

On a side note, I'm pretty impressed with Boe Wilson of the younger guys. I'd like to see a bit more quickness, but he moves pretty well and gets a lot of movement from the defender when he hits.

OLine is playing much better now. I may be wrong but I feel a lot of their recent success is knowing their assignments. Go back and watch the Michigan and Troy games and at times you'd see defenders coming through completely free. There were so many times where we flat out didn't pick up a rushing defender.

We definitely seem to be trending in the right direction!

There were some huge lanes to run through on that right side at times. Part of that was scheme but Franiok did a good job of getting a seal on a couple of those big runs.
