I just think they are better. At QB and RB. Rest is pretty even.
Ole Miss will beat LSU

I think the SEC is going to make sure this is a close game. It's at home for UM. I wouldn't be surprised if they pull it off. LSU will win if they come out the gate thumping. Otherwise I feel like UM gets the Alabama treatment. LSU defense gets the ++. Offense is +Um. If Leavitt is on his game and LSU DL is getting pressure then it evens out. Certainty could swing to UM ++ if Leavitt has an average game. LSU is stacked on offense as well.
Ole Miss has the worst defense in the sec and in the bottom third of college football. That OL is a patch work at best. Louisville had Lacy on the sidelines most of second half.
LSU defense is going to live in the OM backfield. Lane is far superior of a coach compared to Peter. LSU by a wide margin here
I’ve see this game before in 2018 when Dan Mullen and his gators came to DWS.
Definitely not out of the question that OM wins. But my personal belief is their defense showed a ton of vulnerability and Kiffin will be able to exploit it. I also think LSU’s defense is legit.
After watching them play Louisville I don't see it. The reason they beat Louisville was UL did not have a CB that could keep up with Deuce Alexander. I think DJ Pickett has the speed to keep up with him.

The good news is their Qb‘s and Rb‘s aren’t competing against each other, but will have to compete against the opposing defense. To me it’s what defense handles what opposing offenses strength better. I’ve only watched UM opening game and I didn’t see anything special.
LSU #1 in SEC total defense. Mississippi #16. They literally couldn’t possible be more uneven.
I’m expecting them to play over their heads this weekend and it to be close. No guess as to who will win. You can go back to the freeze years, and it’s been the same for them consistently, they can recruit guys with lots of talent who get up for big games, but they will let down and pack it in against lesser competition when the spotlight isn’t on them.
Pete ain’t freeze. That OL is as bad as we had last year. That defense couldn’t stop water against a mid to upper mid AcC team. I understand what point that you’re trying to make but this team does not have it. The defense is probably the worst in the SEC. If lane decides they are going to run and run and then play action to hide some of Leavitss deficiency’s. Game wil be over by half.
Another thing… OM players will be too emotionally amped. Expect some penalties for them early. Nothin on paper or on film says OM will win this game
LSU is going to win this game. The meltdown in Oxford will be epic. Hope no one gets seriously injured this weekend down there.
If you swapped QBs then LSU would win by 4 TDs. They are are just a better team overall with a vastly superior coach. QB is the only advantage Ole Miss has, but it's a huge advantage. I have no faith in Leavitt, thus I think this game could go either way.
And Lane knew this last year... I think he really figured he could convince trinny to move with him.
If you really think this, how do you watch week to week? Is it any different from Monday Night Raw?
LSU will be up by a large margin (25-35) and will never take their foot off the gas. Kiffin will run a 2 minute drill and score with like 45 seconds left to go. Oxford will throw everything not bolted down onto the field. Game will be stopped officially before the clock reaches zero for coach and player safety. Book it.
It should be a good game. Both teams are very talented, except for the coaches.
I see no scenario where ole miss beats LSU. I'm trying to be objective about it but I think LSU is much better where it matters. And I thought chambliss has been fools gold for a while. He's not as good without Weiss and Kiffin. And it's kinda looked that way so far.
Look I think you're right about their OL not being able to hold up against LSU's defense. But our OL last year was historically bad. They're better than that.
I hope to hail LSU wins and in dominating fashion. I'm so sick of hearing about OMs football program. An *** kicking at the hands of Lane, will be their free fall back to obscurity.
Kiffin has a huge advantage knowing Chambliss and OM coach better than themselves. Remember Mullen coming back here in 2018? We almost had too much emotion. LSU wins.
Possibly but they have struggled to run the ball at times. LSU is going to be in there backfield all night
LSU is better pretty much everywhere, except a couple of spots. But Ole Miss has Chambliss, and he's enough to give them a puncher's chance against almost anyone. If Ole Miss had an average QB, this would be a lopsided blowout. If LSU's defense is as legit as they've looked so far, it might still be a blowout. Chambliss may be running for his life for 60 minutes. He'll make some wow plays, and he'll make some mistakes.
Chambliss is the only reason this will be a competitive game. I think he’s the best QB in the country and he is 24 years old.
