Y'all are drastically over looking how significant it is to only be allowed 1 unofficial visit per calendar year per player. That is big. Basically, they can no longer bring kids up to tour and visit (i.e. bang hookers and get free stuff).

I was trying to get clarification on this. I know they are allowed the 1 unofficial visit but do they get an official visit as well? Parties at the library just won't be the same if they aren't getting that official.

And how is the NCAA going to enforce or monitor that one? Do schools even have to document unofficial visits? This is about as empty of a penalty as you can get.

They only get a free ticket once per season and more importantly get the laynard once that allows them access to the locker room, sideline etc. They can buy their own ticket for every game, but will only get the "all access" badge once per year.

Official visit is scheduled ahead of time with organized dinner and itinerary for family and paid travel. Unofficial visit is, "hey, I want to come to the game this weekend, can you get me a ticket and a sideline pass?"

Ole Miss does their best work on unofficial visitors because they don't have to account for there whereabouts.

So, basically two different types of official visits then. I'm guessing they won't have any problem with finding ways to get recruits a ticket without going through official channels or lining up the recruits for all the parties. The sideline pass may be a bit of a problem though.
