The Ole Miss bullpen situation is not good today meanwhile Diamond is at 76 pitches with one out in the 4th
Double, single, home run, and we chase Diamond, no outs in the 5th. 4-1 State. Mallitz to the mound.
My grandfather used to wear these coveralls almost exclusively. He was old school country. He had different color ones. But his “dress coveralls” were what he wore to church or the fish house on Saturday night. They were kind of a powder blue like the picture, but had stripes down them similar to the Mississippi uniforms. Every time they wear these hideous things, I tell my wife “Look, they’re wearing their dress coveralls.”

New pitcher for Ole Miss after two walks: LHP Jackson Kimbrell
Mostly used in non-con so far. His only SEC action so far was coming in against Auburn and walking two batters.

ETA: Tullar inherited 2-0 count and walks in a run. TV guys say that is credited to Smith. I thought for sure that walk is Tullar's.
In comes Fristoe after Bianco brings in right-handed pinch hitter. Bianco then pinch hits again with a left-handed hitter. 6-3 State, 1 out B6, bases still loaded.

Fristoe gets a strikeout. 2 runs for Ole Miss, but feels like that could have been a lot worse. 6-4 State after 6.

First the live stats credited the walk to Tullar. Now they switched it to Smith. I guess I don't know how they score those split ABs.

ETA: Apparently the original call was that he was hit by the ball outside the box, which is out. The review could only determine whether or not he was hit by the ball, not whether or not he was in the box. Could be wrong, but I think we got a break there.

Big zero in the bottom of the 8th after a leadoff double. 6-4 State headed to the 9th. Feels like we need insurance.
That feels really big. Fristoe and Kohn developing feels like it could be the catalyst to salvaging this season.
I'd like to buy insurance here as well.

The person that was calling pitches last year can not be calling pitches this year. You can’t make me believe it is the same person. Dumbest pitch call ever.
I'm hoping we can find us another relief pitcher who scares the hell out of everybody before next year. Our relief guys do a ****** job of trying to fool somebody.
Johnson's all-world today. College baseball is unpredictable sometimes. College guys and emotions. They don't all have ice water flowing through those veins.

That's exactly what it looks like. We don't have anybody with any attitude at all and it's so disappointing after having Sims last year.
He is at 93 pitches combined last night and today going into the 11th. Hunt is at 77 combined last night and today.
Finally! We are in decent shape going forward to pick up another four or five wins especially if we can find a better bullpen performance
