We're in the off-season people and I am already chomping at the bit to see some college basketball. I love watching old games and I know there are many of you out there who do as well. So, I thought I'd start a thread where we could post some of our favorite games or memories of games. Something to distract us all from the monotony of life without college basketball. I'll start with a personal favorite of mine:

I tend to like watching the 99 team (not the UConn game, the 2001 team, and the 2010 and 2015 runs. It's fun to see how dominant Brand and Battier were at their peaks.

Me too man! I love watching the Miracle Minute, Final Four, and title games from '01. One of my favorites is the game at Wake when the giant killer Chris Duhon broke their hearts. '10 and '15 were both so special. I wish I could find the 82-50 senior night game and the Uconn preseason NIT championship game from '10. I'd love to find the Coach K wins 1000 against St. John's, the sweet sixteen against Utah, and the elite eight against Gonzaga.

Watching the Duke Florida game of 99. Battier is just so smart and crafty. Maggette was such a weapon off the bench. Burgess very solid. I forgot what a sniper Langdon was. And I haven't even mentioned Brand or Avery. And Carrawell was a solid role player. We had Nate James as well.

Just finished the '01 championship game for the umpteenth time. Dunleavy's play in the second half is underrated. Battier made so many big plays on both ends. That tip was otherworldly.

That team was so good. Dunleavy would have been the star on most teams; he was our 4th option. It's almost unfair that one recruiting class had Brand and Battier as forwards.

Forgotten classic here. Snyder with the onions on the line at the end. If I am not mistaken this was the first time K swept Carolina in a season too.

Can you imagine how good that team would've been in '00 if Avery, Corey, or Brand had stayed? I think bringing back Corey Maggette alone makes that team a final four bound group. Don't know if we would've stopped Cleaves and Michigan State though. He was on a mission that year.

Yeah, I was thinking today that Maggette is the guy I would have most wanted a second year from, other than Zion. He would have been POY imo. Would probably have been a better pro too. His talent was insane.

Most definitely. He would've benefited from it and so would've Duke. I honestly think a sophomore Maggette elevates that team to elite status. We went 29-5 and 15-1 in the ACC that year without him!

A sophomore Maggette would have been able to score at will. But we won it all the next year; so it worked out. Maybe Dunleavy transfers if Maggette comes back and we don't win in 2001.

Totally. Lesson learned. Would CM have come back if he started? Probably not but we may have won that year.

Chris Carrawell would've embraced whatever role he was given too. I think Corey was the difference that year and at times we didn't utilize him enough. You live and learn. UConn was absolutely terrific that year too though. Defensively that team was severely underrated, as bad as I hate to admit that.

Battier is my favorite player ever. But watching these 99 games; Maggette was better than even Battier at that point. We needed to play him more. Sorry I think I've hammered home this point enough so I'll stop.

Definitely needed to run more through Maggette than we did. I think Brand and Maggette were our two most talented players in '99. Battier didn't become his true self until '01. He was great in '00, but he was a real man in '01.

Collins went off in this one. I was at my grandparents house watching and pissed my grandma off when Collins hit that shot and we came back to win. Collins with the luckiest bounce I've ever seen:
