Jackson Cantwell visited Nebraska more than he visited Miami. Problem was Nebraska couldn’t afford Jackson and red stadium seats. so they went Rex Waterman and red chairs. Seems like a good football move.

247 has him rated as an 85. 83.5 on on3. So maybe we found a diamond in the rough and pounced. Can't say I know anything about him. He looks the part.

He’s not that highly rated by the services at this point, but outside of the obviously great ones it’s hard to project how an OL transitions from HS to B1G. We don’t have a great record of developing mid 3 star OL into productive linemen. Our better OL recently have been transfers.

How do you think those two things are in any way related?

They got to work him out and measure him on campus. Gotta trust their judgement

That does help. Nothing against this kid.

I was just looking at the scholarship distribution for OL, and it is disappointing to see so few juniors and seniors. That is a position group you want to get old and stay old. We are not that.

The departure of Frost and the uncertainty that created IMO damaged our recruiting Raiola’s first two years. Rubber hits the road for his guys this fall.
