A boot up your *** is a good thing. Put the fear of god into them. Frost needed it too.
Is it fair to say us Husker fans were sick of this ****? About time they start to look like a football team. NW was the perfect opponent to unveil some new changes that show promise.

They mentioned that NW gave up over 400 in a half to Duke also, so hopefully this isn't one off for us. Bottom line, if we can get production out of RB position we'll be OK.

First time I’ve seen them get to the second level all year. They look dominant. Just in time to win the rest of our games 😎

Perfect timing to give them some confidence and a little positive thinking.
It's always a good time for pie!

While we looked great let’s Remember it was NW. This was certainly a step in the right direction but Let’s see what next week looks like.

Gotta like the nearly penalty free game though

Nouili is my boy. He's got a good bit of nasty to him
You and me both drubendall. This mamby pamby **** we've been seeing all year had to go. We had some pulling guards and tackles tonight, some physicality, looked like a TOTALLY different OL.

Still not sold on Sichterman or even Corcoran at RT, but I think the left side is set along with Cam at center. Teddy came in and made an immediate impact.

Michigan is legit. Michigan probably didn’t like what they just saw.
I don’t think Michigan really gives much of a rip. Neither does Wisconsin or Iowa. When Domann says they are playing for respect it’s true. Agree that Michigan is also playing some of their best ball
Going to be a fun game

Gotta say, even if I’m biased a bit as I work at Northwestern, there are two things that are true at the same time:

1. Northwestern is a terrible football team

2. That was the most complete, *** whooping, old school of a Nebraska game I’ve seen in years. #65 killed it, Yantz killed it, AM killed it, everyone running through the kickoffs killed it. Absolutely complete.

I’ve been on the fire Scott train for awhile (or at least fire the bad assistants, and I still have so many questions about the program and how it’s run), but I’m so pumped after this game!

Let us kick the **** out of Michigan.

Against a 2-3 Northwestern team. People creaming their pants. O.k. have fun while it lasts. I am all for the win, but c'mon. We are .500, not 5-1 or 4-2. Michigan is nothing special, but they actually have atheletes. Adrian and atheltes = disaster. Doesn't take rocket science to figure it out. Wait and see. But, nice win anyway.

You can deride NW's defensive line but to me it's obvious that Frost stepped in to fix the OL and in one game that changed the way they were playing. Clearly they were not being coached well and that was 99% of the problem. It shouldn't have taken 4 seasons to get the OL firing off the ball and not playing tentative.

We all know NW aren't world beaters this year but we've lost to many of those teams recently so it's OK to be excited about last night and still be cautious at the same time. Can't wait to see how we follow this game up.

I get that it was NW, and agree we need to see if the way this team played last night carries into next week and beyond. The thing that has me very hopeful is that, regardless of opponent, there was a level of confidence, focus, and physicality that we didn’t see the first five games, (from the offense). If we played like that from the start of the season, we could be undefeated. Hope they not only play like that in the future, but continue to get better.

Doiminic Raiola is in town with stud QB son. The Dominator lit a fire under there asses!! GBR!!
The Dominator Dominic Raiola's message to our O line. "Bloody their noses and step on their throats for 60 minutes" "Then do it again next week". Love it. Man, I miss leaders and killers like him!! Hire him full time. Then sign his kid!! GBR!!
