They're probably upset more about getting beat by an overrated Houston team and getting skull crushed by tOSU in Norman. Big Game Bob better not get rolled or even beat tomorrow.

Honestly though Oklahona is joined at the hip with OK State. Without the Cowboys, they're not leaving. Same with Kansas And K State, they're not getting separated. In Oklahoma the politics and T Boone wouldn't allow it. Imo This is just sabre rattling.

If Oklahoma goes somewhere else they lose their stroke. You think anybody in the B1G cares what Nebraska says. Same with A&M M & Mizzoo in the SEC-like BAMA & Florida or the likes care. And Colorado is the rotating Spirit Week opponent in the PAC 12, no one in Caly Fornya to Washington cares. This is why I think there's a pause on losing the Stroke some of these schools have.

I would love to see the Big 8 form again with the 12 most obvious teams - Nebraska back to the Big 12. With us, I would love to see an ACC affiliation with drivable road games in Virginia, the Carolinas, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

I don't understand why some of the fans would blame losing to Houston and Ohio State on being in the big 12. If they are worried about the big 12's image as being weak then stop losing OOC games. The biggest mistake Bob Stoops ever made was hiring his brother as DC. In business never hire you're friends or family if it can be avoided. Allot of FSU fans believe that Bobby destroyed the FSU offense when he hired Jeff Bowden.

Never hire friends or family unless you're willing to fire them as quick as anyone else. I definitely agree with that.

As for Bowden, age and recruiting (and Nevin Shapiro at the U) also caught up with him and the death of a player changed the offseason conditioning program with their "mat drills" they were running.

I don't think anyone would complain about a driveable road game...especially me, way the hell up here...but we do have some very nice OOC match ups down the road next few years, starting with the cHokies. I like the current Big 12 setup for now. And intend to do either the Texas or Oklahoma area road trip next year be damned lol...

If Oklahoma leaves Big 12 they go the path of Nebraska and will steadily decline

Um...well...they are 5-0 thus far, are figuring out how to close out games late and have a heck of a coach at the helm in Riley now....you're entitled to your opinion but I think it's dead wrong Saban...

Oklahomas problem isn't the BIg 12 - it's the state of Texas which too many in the conference think the football universe revolves around. They've failed to notice that the best recruits hail from Ohio and Florida and a couple of other regions not in the current BIg 12. They fail to notice that neither OU nor UT has dominated the BIG 12 for the past 6 years while their fans act like them getting blown out by tOSU is because they don't have a comparable program to go up against.

NEws for them, they've been beaten every one of those last 6 years IN the BIg 12 and haven't dominated anyone. THeyve been blown out like that by BIg 12 schools-- because of myopic recruiting and large egos.

The conference isn't dragging them down, they are dragging the BIG 12 down.

Texas A & M's move to the SEC has hurt the Big 12. Too many of the elite athletes from Texas are now going to SEC schools. Florida and Texas are far and away the top 2 States for blue-chip football recruits.

The announcers in the Texas vs Oklahoma game have said on a couple of occasions that Oklahoma's defense has been disorganized. maybe OU fans should call for mike stoops head instead of blaming the big 12 for there problems.

That's actually false. Florida, then California, then Texas. Georgia and Ohio are next.
