How much time is Rosselli going to get? I haven't got to watch OU much this year, so I could be way off, but just looking at their rankings their guys don't seem to be progressing a ton. They've lost four straight duals and frankly they haven't been super competitive in those losses.

Demas is a stud but he hasn't been able to break through to that top tear. Woodly is not bad but I thought he would be a little better by this point.

They seem to be recruiting better. His struggles there have shocked me. They seem to be investing in the program.

Mantonoa has been wrestling much better as the season progressed. But he may be the only sooner showing improvement. Demas is very good and Woodley is pretty tough too. Madrigal and Thomas have been fairly solid also. It should be an easy win for us unless some crazy Bedlam stuff happens. BEAT OU!!!!!

Moody has regressed quite a bit since his sophomore year. Jack Spates says he has some nagging injuries and is not dealing well with them mentally. Of the others that wrestled last year, they are mostly about the same as last year, with minimal improvement, at least in winning percentage. Demas is solid, but if people avoid the upper body stuff, he has trouble scoring. This could be very much like the first dual, with several close matches, but a big difference in the team score. According to the totally unbiased Mr. Spates, they have some studs in the room and will be much improved next year. They are starting a lot of underclassmen, 8 of 10 I think, so he may be right. I would guess Rosselli has a couple of more years at least.

The problem is this has been the same “story” the last 2 years... They are young, they have some studs in the room, etc...

Patience has to be wearing thin in Norman. He has had a worse run than the final run that got their old coach fired.

It just doesn’t make sense to me. Rosseli is well thought of by just about everyone, they’ve built a pretty solid RTC and they seem to be putting money into wrestling.

You are 100% spot on. We’ve heard the talent is on the way for the last couple years. The problem is the talent doesn’t seem to get better once it gets to campus.

A former Sooner NCAA champion and friend of Rosselli told me last year in Vegas the he thinks Lou is a great guy and assistant coach but is not a good head coach. He wanted OU to try to get Mark Perry or Mark Branch and they were not interested.

Marsden was in the senior video on IG, dude got Huge, like Joe in the off season huge. And he certified this week at 285, I’m guessing he goes out today.

Dang, thought it didn't start till 2, saw the end of the Geer match but what were the scores of the other two matches?

And what happened at 184 to lose team points?

Geer is not a 197er....He can be competitive with just about everyone, but can literally lose to everyone. That's why IMO he won't AA at 197. He's a top 8 184er, but Montalvo has been wrestling alright for the most part.

I'm curious if we're going to even win a match? Maybe 149??, but outside of that, we might go 0-10 against them

Spencer Lee won't be allowing any 3rd period wake up calls, he will turn the lights off in the 2nd period if wrestling like that.

Our tv production is second rate......no riding time clock, the individual score has been wrong many times, no team score posted, the main announcer isn't too knowledgeable

the few times I've watched a match its' been just like that.
