This game remined me so much of the Tulsa /Rice game on Valentines day of 2000 when the score was 75-33. Tulsa doubled the Rice guards and scored layup after layup on steals. The TU guards made the open threes and free throws. The only difference tonight was that you could substitute OSU for the 2000 Tulsa team and the current TU team for lowly Rice.

Guys, it’s pretty plain and simple to see…Konkol can’t coach. The talent isn’t much different than OSU (and that’s not saying much because OSU will likely finish last or close to it in the B12), the difference is coaching, Lutz gets the most from his players, Konkol gets the minimum. Time for a change, nice guy or not.

Apparently the question is now “will he return”? He might be the missing piece we need.
There is more than one player missing , TU isn't going anywhere . They beat ORU at
home then ORU loses to Rogers State at the mabee center. TU is going to get waxed
this season , no more pipe dreams .

How pathetic. I won't be wasting anymore time or money at games this year..I find myself yawning and apathetic. Crazy as it is to believe, we are so far away from even where Wojcik had us.
You know it's bad when we start waxing nostalgic about Wojcik. But Wojcik never had a 5-25 season. He doesn't get enough credit for the good things he did because he was a gaping a-hole. He got the program back on its feet, he just couldn't get us over the hump.

Wojcik recruited great talent and had teams that fought hard. His scheme just was too old school and didn’t use talent as well as he should’ve. It still is such a shame that he never made the tourney with Jerome Jordan, Ben Uzoh and Justin Hurrt, with two of those guys making the NBA.

You can give partial credit to Haith on that 5-25 season.

The "Under 30" cheer game. I was at the game as well. Sportscaster Al Jerkins and Ryan ( ? ) were sitting in the section next to ours and believe they originated the cheer. LOL

GO TU!!!!

I remember that one, too. It was a late ESPN game on a Monday night!

I felt bad for that Rice point guard. He's probably still having nightmares about Eric Coley.
