Came out with the right intensity, then they got into the groove of the game and lost that intensity. Seems like they cannot maintain that kind of intensity for anything more than 5 or 10 minutes. That loses tons of games.

I’m offering my services to coach the University of Tulsa men’s basketball team. I will do it for $160K+ limited performance bonuses. They can fire me whenever they see fit. That way when they are able to stop paying Konkol they can afford a real coach instead of wasting money on his buyout and needing to hire a competen coach immediately.

OSU is not a good defensive team in terms of opponent shooting percentage but they are a great team at creating turnovers.
We’re making them look like Selfs defense with all of our stupid or lazy passes and terrible shooting,
Well, we have no offense outside of 4 plays.

Feels like Tulsa Basketball will never be back.

I'm just waiting for Garcia to return. That is the only thing that could change things in the short run. In the long run, Smikle could continue to improve his game. Players like Reed & Mcwright could improve their game too, but I'm not counting on it.

Konkol such a nice guy but can’t stand his offensive and defensive style. Just bad basketball and only works if you have a dominating inside guy with 3 point shooters. We have neither

Apparently the question is now “will he return”? He might be the missing piece we need.
