Seems like everyone of their games goes down to the wire, but they always come out on top.

The Big 12 knows how to take care of their Flagship team.:scream:

Agreed. Don't know why a select few of their fans feel the need to come here and attempt to change minds though. Futile

They are better than we are. Differenc between Junior/Senior Gaurds and Freshman Guards. They also have a much better wing than we do. Interior play is a push.

I see Kansas making a run to the elite 8, but I think a team like UCLA or Arizona will beat them with the guards and low post players to match them. I think the first game Lucas gets into foul trouble will spell doom for Kansas

KU never has players in foul trouble. If, for some crazy reason 1 of the convicts has a few fouls early, it would take a monumental assault for another foul to be called.

Yeah they are. They beat us by 10 at Rupp. Are they more talented? No. They're a better basketball team.
They beat us by 6 @ Rupp 79-73. Get your story straight.

I don't know if they're better now. We've come a long way since that game. Fox looks to be healthy finally. Willis is playing strong. Bam is finally rebounding like he's capable. The defense has stepped up.

Monk is attacking the basket and not settling for jumpers.

I think it would be a hell of a game.

If we played again right now they probably win. Just basing my opinion on the overall play of both teams in the last month.

I'M not sure.Think it would be very close and could go either way.
Agree. Bam was 4-10 from the FT stripe in the KU game and had a bunch of TOs. Monk was cold. KU zone was effective. That was January against a very young UK team. We've grown up since then.

KU was also without a big. We were without Mulder. They only shot 26% from 3 that game.. And I believe we shot around 40 percent because Willis hit five 3's. We could beat Kansas.. But right now if we played them 10 times, KU would probably win 6 or 7. Just my opinion.

Let's not forget that Kansas hazed us with a summer-league zone during the first match up. But we would undoubtedly have more answers for any kind of zone/junk defense if we met Kansas in the tourney.

I would just prefer that we avoid Kansas until the Final Four. Not too interested in playing them in Kansas City, which would be a de facto home game for them. Then again, Kansas usually loses early so we probably wouldn't see them in Kansas City anyway.
