I saw a story about 10 years ago about a restaurant inspector in NYC,mostly top end restaurants,he did for around 10 years and had to quit.He said he never ate out again,prepared all meals at home,just saying,there is a reason they do inspection,the cost ? That I can't explain but the inspections are done for public safety.There is no doubt money being paid under the table.
