Wasn’t super into the jersey from his return video, but these are really well done. Probably gonna have to snag one when they go on sale

I don't know if Baker's net is as low as you say. But basically we all knew this already that this wasn't big bucks. We just didn't feel the need to harp on it in a disparaging way.Nice until each guy gets a check for $8.00. Geo has partnered with a company who is doing this for him. By time they take out all the cost to make and ship this item plus take their cut, Geo will be lucky to net ten cents a shirt. LOL. Now Geo will be taxed on this so he has to factor that in as well. If I am the bench and managers I wouldn't go out buying anything expensive.
Yeah, I also turn down free money because I'm going to get taxed on it.Nice until each guy gets a check for $8.00. Geo has partnered with a company who is doing this for him. Doubt if this will put Geo in a high tax bracket.Nice until each guy gets a check for $8.00. Geo has partnered with a company who is doing this for him. Only this forum can find a way to hate on Geo for this nice gesture.Nice until each guy gets a check for $8.00. Geo has partnered with a company who is doing this for him. With no due respect you have no f***ing idea what Geo Baker thinks.Oh my god, chill out. Just pointing out that the money these kids think they are going to make selling merchandise is going to shock them. There are cost that get factored out that you probably never even think of. Geo, who I love and appreciate for at least trying to spread the wealth, thinks he will sell a 1000 shirts @ $20 and he will get $20,000, doesn't work that way kids.
This won't put him in any tax bracketDoubt if this will put Geo in a high tax bracket.
So he'll get to get put some money in his pocket and gain valuable learning experience. Sounds pretty goodOh my god, chill out. Interesting question. If the school gives them out, markets it, etc. I doubt it could work that way though. Can Rutgers call SHI and get $80,000 to put SHI on the back of it. Give them out to the 8,000 fans that come to the Indiana game and turn around and give Geo a check for $80,000 to disburse?
Or can Geo make the calls and get the $80,000 sponsorship and sell them to Rutgers for the Indiana promotion?
Best thing that will come out of this is the fact that they will learn about business and how it really works without having to invest any of their money. There are tons of artist/performers that produce product in their image and never see a dime after the "accounting people" get their hands on the numbers. So he'll get to get put some money in his pocket and gain valuable learning experience. there will be no learning about business. maybe just education about tax code. in the initial stage we are in some players will have to work to get paid. it wont be long until it is expected that others do the work and the athlete just gets paid. thats how it will work at the top 40-50 schools. top schools will have 6 to 10 sponsorships lined up and it will just be about who gets which dealBest thing that will come out of this is the fact that they will learn about business and how it really works without having to invest any of their money.
