I know Kings Mountain is supposed to be good this year , and Shelby also but I guess it all depends on new coach to how good Shelby will be . Don't know much about Crest or Burns . Thoughts !

Kings Mountain seem to be everyone’s Big South favorite as they should be. Crest may be a little down but not much. After all they are Crest. I don’t see a drop off for Shelby. They will likely hire in-house, though stranger things have happened. Burns should be more competitive in 2A, they successfully petitioned the NCHSAA to move down mid-alignment as you might have heard due to declining enrollment and we will be in the Southwestern 2A for the next 2 years. We already had solid 2A numbers. We still have a tough nonconference schedule though.
Kings Mountain should definitely be the favorites to win the big south. The power ponies will be young and struggle, especially with that stagnant offense. I think Burns could be better this year than last. Shelby, of course, will be Shelby. The Big South should be fun to watch, but when the playoffs start it won’t matter much. Catholic will run the table as usual.
Do the Cleveland County schools have spring football practice, or since it’s May already, did they have spring practice? Never heard anything about how anyone looked?? Just asking.
Maybe they should run the old single wing or how about the Notre Dame box formation.
That's a step in the right direction. Hopefully it involves some work on time management as well.
Ruff and Graham in the backfield will be a problem this season. Hopefully, Graham stays healthy.
Lol. Yes. Could be/have been a college prospect, but stays banged up all the time. Kid is built like a Greek god. He and Ruff will be an explosive backfield. It will be interesting to see what offense they transition into this season.

I hope this is true. My old lady and I just moved in the Crest district unfortunately lol our youngest ones gonna be at Springmore. Ain’t gonna lie sure was fun watching football at John Gamble stadium homeside for the last 4 or 5 years. Never traveled much to watch the power ponies at boiling springs hope the concessions are up to par. Heard you fellas have bathroom problems or somethin on here Hell I know some plumbers.

No she is Shelby all the way. Moved to BS about 28 years ago and we never drank the kool aid. But the area is very nice with a lot of good people.
August 16 at Burns. I was told Burns is playing Independence. That is all I know.
AC Reynolds will be there again, don’t know who we scrimmage yet though, I do know it won’t be Shelby since we play them in regular season.

Yeah, ACR can’t scrimmage Shelby since we play them in Week 2, so that limits who we get each year.
Indy matchup oughta be cool. 10 12 years ago them coming to Shelby area was a wooahh, oh my goodness thing lol but now any of the 4 could take down Indy. Shelby and KM especially. Love it when one or two of y’all show up a Charlotte school.
