It's too quiet today. We need rumors. We've got 22 verbally committed and I can't recall how many we can actually sign this year.

With that said, who do we finish out with and is there a possible Robert Elliot scenario in the works? When is Damien Robinson announcing?
Is there anychance that Sanders shocks everybody and comes our way? I would guess we've got 3 spots left and maybe more, but who's gonna fill those spots and is Mullen hiding something for tommorrow?

and I'm surprised we haven't gotten confirmation of what they are going to do. At this point we are still sitting here going into signing day with 2 OL commitments (to go with 2 from last year). We REALLY need Robinson and Lawson as my understanding is that Polk is sticking with TT.

If we're really going to compete for titles and championships, in the SEC, then we HAVE to sign some stout linemen.

If we were to clean house with who's left on board, we will sign 27 or 28 (with Sanders). We can sign up to 28, but can only award 25 scholarships and bring those players in in a given year. Several of the commits will have to play JUCO because of grades, so it should work out if we oversign like last year.

I don't know what Robert Elliot's deal was when he signed on as a recruit, so I can't make a comparison, but if you are referring to him being a highly touted 4-star recruit that just hasn't played out, I don't think we'll see that because we have a lot better coaching and conditioning.

Robinson is announcing with his signature, so tomorrow we'll obviously know everything then. It strongly looks like MSU will round out the class with him and Lawson. Still a chance with Sanders, but slim. Definite commits look like Jeremy Lee, Paul Crawford and Rodney Young. Some decent talent there, but not newsbreakers.

MSU planned to sign 5 or 6 O linemen this year, and we look to end up with 5. Not bad in my book. Believe me with this class, we're gonna see linemen at MSU of a size we've hardly ever thought would be possible at our school on both sides of the ball.

...is bigger than our 93 or 94 OL, what ever year(s) it was that Kendall Watkins was our TE...listed at 299...rumored to be 320.

post some basis for your claim if you really want to cause a stir over here, because I don't think anyone here give a damn what you are saying right now.

You can go ahead and take the MSU, FSU, and WVU hats off the table for Sanders tomorrow. I'm connected like that....

This was sent to me an email earlier this afternoon from an OM friend:
<font face="Times New Roman, serif" size="3"><div style="margin-top: 5pt; margin-bottom: 5pt;"><font color="#0000ff"></font>
<font color="#0000ff">Damien Robinson</font> never made
an official visit to Ole Miss, taking trips to Mississippi State and Memphis
instead. However, he and the Rebels' staff have seemingly had a difficult time
completely breaking up. Sources close to the Olive Branch program said Tuesday
that it remained possible Robinson, a four-star tackle who could project as a
guard, could sign with Ole Miss.
Prediction: Neal McCready: Ole Miss,
Confidence level: 15; Chase Parham: Ole Miss, Confidence level: 15; Dave
Childers: Mississippi State, Confidence level: 51.

papers to be faxed to him so he can sign with Ole Miss yet Ole Miss

I don't know why we wouldn't send him one but if they know he isn't going to sign why bother?
