Hard to argue this... Sure seems like they could take it to us, especially if we don't move the ball. If we have trouble offensively, we lose a low scoring affair, in my opinion.

I appreciate your optimism, but I prefer the term realist...not defeatist....

At one point in my life, I had this "realist" view you have. I found over time it makes you take things that should be fun, and turn it into something that isn't as fun. Why go into the Minnesota game looking for ways for us to lose? I went into it thinking they are still just a slightly improved version of old Minnesota. It really doesn't surprise me at all that we beat the brakes off them. Just like it won't surprise me if we do the same thing to Northwestern next week. Now, please don't look at this like I'm blindly optimistic. We still have problems, I'm well aware of this. But I still feel like we match up better than all but 1 of the rest of the teams we play against the rest of the season. Doesn't mean we'll win them all, but we should.

I wasnt looking for ways for us to lose. You will actually see in another thread I predicted a win. I was just bjrderline based on our pass d. I knew the game would either be a high scoring win or a low scoring loss...i chose the first ultimately.
