I know Jemele Hill got a lot of flak for this article ( http://www.espn.com/espn/page2/story?page=hill/080926 ), but I think there's some truth to the position profiling argument. There is a certain stigma against white tailbacks. Christian McCaffery is playing well, and it looks like he'll pass 1,000 yards for the year. Since 1985, the only two guys to do that are Craig James (1985) and Peyton Hillis (2010). That is astonishing low.
