A few things
-The EIA report tomorrow should be interesting as a report on gas demand and stock builds. We are down 40+% from typical numbers from a demand point of view.
-Storage is packed and demand is falling at a much higher clip than production cuts or storage availability
-We currently have 160mbb estimated in "sea storage"....That number was 100mbbl in 2008 or 2009.
-Point being, when people start driving whether it be tomorrow, next month, or in three, oil still has some factors that should limit the upside.
I'd put my bet on companies with stability like Exxon to eliminate some of the volatility. My bet, it still has room to go down. A "bigly" oversupplied market with limited demand.....and lets say we open up in 3 weeks....how will it trade once a cluster of outbreaks hits the newswire in a state that is open. It will continually come under pressure is my bet.
We are in uncharted waters. Who knows what is going to happen.
