alright, let’s put away what happened yesterday and focus on the game this weekend. What is your prediction for this weekend and what must we do to have a chance to come out with a win?

I'm gonna have to stick to the same range as my previous predictions.

OSU 63
NU 34

For a chance to win, we have to force multiple turnovers and capitalize on them. Gotta play clean, penalty and turnover free football and have our offense jump on them early to get some doubt to creep back into their minds. If we don't start strong it will be ugly.

Bad match up for the Husker D, hope the offense can generate points once they get into the RZ. I would say tOSU by 3-4 td's in the end.

In order for us to have a chance of winning, we will need to win the turnover battle, have less penalties than them, stop the run occasionally, score TDs in the red zone and make them kick field goals in the red zone. Both of our secondaries are a little suspect.

Not asking for much right.

We will not be able to get down early. I think it will be a back and forth scoring game. If that happens we have a chance. Stay with them and hang around. Hope for a turnover late in the game. Get into their head of"here we go again" like Purdue.

If we WIN, it will be by a few points. If we lose, it'll be by 21 or more

OSU 42 NU 28 - we're getting closer...

We are but I still think this team has a few weak spots that can’t be fixed mid-year. The offense will only goes as far as the offensive line will take them. In games where they aren’t overwhelmed, we are a handful. OSU doesn’t have Bosa but still have far more talent in their front 7 than I think we can handle. If the offensive line can hold up, we can score some points but I think that’s a big if. Secondly, the defense. OSU has a great passing offense and we struggle to stop passing teams. We aren’t great at blitzing and are poor in coverage. Colorado, Purdue, and northwestern took advantage. None of which have the skill and passing game of Ohio state. Maybe if Ohio state decides to be stubborn and insist on getting their running game going early and we shut that down, then we can build a lead and try to hang on but idk. Not feeling good about this one

Man this would be a huge win for this program, and would show the players, recruits, and fans that this turn around is taking shape for good.
I believe our offense is getting good enough to put up points on almost any D in the country. Ohio St comes in ranked 90th in total D. So I think we will be able to put up points on them. While their offense seems to be one sided it is still very good. Haskins is legit and is going to be a problem. If we are not able to at least get some sort of pressure on him, he is going to eat us alive. As we know our D as struggled this year. I think that is going to be the difference maker. Our D has to get stops. If we go into an offensive shoot out with them, we lose.
I just don't think our D is good enough to come close to stopping Haskins or their pass game. Although just watch, everyone is talking about how Ohio St can't run and has a one sided offense. We probably spent all week practicing on how to stop Haskins and their passing game. They will run it 75% of the time and we won't be able to stop it. I think they will be able to do whatever they want offensively against us and it will work.
We keep it somewhat respectable: 48- 34 Ohio St

I believe that you guys not only compete, but are within a score and have a chance to pull the upset! BOL this weekend Huskers!
Hope you are right, but I am having a hard time seeing it.
I'll say something like 45-24 OSU. I think we will get some big plays on offense, but we still can't cover inside receivers or pressure the QB, so I'm not sure how we will be able to stop them.

OSU by 14-17

State wants to erase the bad memory of the *** whipping at Purdue and Meyer will press the gas pedal to show that his team has NC credentials. Nebraska with a late TD to cover.

I don't see it being close. Classic "get right" game for the Buckeyes. We're getting better but we aren't on that level yet. Hopefully we're still in it after halftime but I see it as:

OSU 55
NU 31

Too much Haskins having all day to throw and pick apart our DBs. NO pressure up front puts the secondary at a real disadvantage. I think our offense will score and will get a TD or two late, but the game will never be in doubt for OSU. I hope I am wrong and will gladly take an upset by NU but I just don't see it yet........key word YET. We'll get there! #GBR

26-24 Huskers!

I always bet Huskers when there isn't money involved........

4 turnovers committed by OsU, only two by the SnCream!

We have the game won and the refs call 2 fluke PI’s on tOSU final drive. One is on 4th down and flag thrown really late after our sideline starts celebrating. Refs refuse to talk to SF. Urban admits they were out played in his press conference and tells Scott during the hand shake, we were robbed.

This board goes crazy and has a record number of temp bands and next week the only active posters left are the Mods and the trolls that create bogus accounts

35-31 NE, I think you guys will pull off the upset. Late in the 4th -- your D comes through with a couple stops and AM plays within himself but keeps moving the chains to keep the OSU offense on the sidelines.

Line went from 21-1/2 to 18....that is a huge move.
Somebody know something, OSU wins but it’s closer than everyone thinks. 38-24

OHIO ST - 66
Huskers - 24

Until we can play defense, we have no chance.
Outside of Oregon St they haven't put up more than 49 on anyone. I think our D is better than Oregon St. So I don't think they will get much above 45-50. Can our offense put up 45+? Doubtful .
