Last year Nova was annihilated by Michigan 73-46 at home in Game 3 after being a #8 in the Week 2 AP Poll. The following poll saw them drop to 29th (4th in the receiving votes list).

Villanova was rated # 10 and got taken to the woodshed by Ohio State. Northwestern beat Providence by 9 making the series tied at 3-3. Several SHU guys were predicting the Big East would win 7 of 8. The BIG might be down a bit but it is still a good league.
