They're coming in off a loss and a bye week to let it soak in. No mercy as they make a statement. 72-17.

35-0 or 42-0 by halftime. Only way that doesn't happen is if we can actually punt and protect our punter otherwise it's going to be too easy for them.

A second prediction thread. One wasn’t enough given the excitement surrounding this game! Their fans aren’t thrilled with them after their last game/loss, so obviously an upset is very possible, right?!?

OSU 84, NU 0.

…or not. But at least we hold them under 100. And we won’t have to pass on a FG as we won’t ever get that close. Oh well, how about the Volleyball team! And we usually excel in Bowling!!

Total beatdown…guessing 52-14. we get a late TD on their scrubs to break double figures. I’d bet the farm they will cover…the second we get down by 2 scores we will mentally fold and quit..

Ohio St 63 (then shows mercy)
Nebraska 0 (if we had any sort of kicking game, we’d score 3 points)

Ohio St shuts us out. We have zero percent chance at winning. I’m not going to bother watching because our ineptness will be on full display. I still love Nebraska but I’m just being real. I’ll tune in the week after!

34-21 OSU. We'll play much better.

In today’s CFB the thing nobody saw coming (accept you I guess) seems to happen more often than ever. That being said… Eleventigillion to 7 OSU. I can see us getting a garbage time TD possibly.

Indiana was a terrible game. This will be worse. Ryan Day isn’t a ***** like our coaches and he will stomp our guts out. Our only hope is to run the clock down every play and run the ball to shorten the game. Gonna be hard to watch.

I feel like Nebraska is the one program that can almost never pull off the huge upset. I remember in 2016, thinking we were back after beating #22 Oregon… the Oregon team that went on to finish the year 4-8. Before that? 2015 Michigan State was a big win. Those times feel ancient and I at least felt like the team had an identity. I need to see what other games are on this Saturday, because that OSU/NU game will be a bloodbath.

Over the years I’ve seen many ****** to average teams pull off huge upsets. Never once has that team been Nebraska… 😕

We have to run the ball, be opportunistic passing, to try to shorten the game. I don’t think we will. We can’t stop their O. Gonna be a long day. 66-13.

Up until last 8 years we weren’t ever such a major underdog team. There was that 9 point loss to Ohio State 4-5 years ago but other than that we haven’t even come close to getting an upset. We have either gave good effort and shot ourselves in the foot or laid down and gotten steamrolled like the little b!tch team that we are. Which way will it be Saturday?

I do not trust that Satterfield will have the run game humming on Saturday. Nebraska is super vanilla in their run play selection and will not be able to stay on the field long enough.

Ohio St always seems to start slow off a BYE week and Ryan Day hasn't been the guy to run up scores so I will go with 28-7 at half time and a final score of 35-10

NU - 24
OSU - 17

We get the monkey off our back.

Probably not, though.

I think it’s more likely we lose 45-14, or so.

I predict a loss that will have fans and media questioning if the team will have enough spirit and self-determination left to believe in their ability to salvage the remainder of the season, or if they’re gonna be the fragile, broken quitters that give up.
This team better not f*cking quit.

p.s.
Dear Satt,
Learn what offenses are supposed to do, cus you’re embarrassing Husker Nation.
And have someone tell Foley what special teams do.

Sincerely,
Everyone who wants you to know the basics about what offenses are supposed to do: yards and points.

This will be a better game than yall are predicting. We will win or lose a close one

Define "close"

If you look at OSU's season so far, they look to play 3 levels:
  1. The directional cupcakes, they beat by an average of 46 points. I don't think we're that bad
  2. The middling B1G schools, they beat by an average of 30 points. We're probably somewhere in that ballpark
  3. The (possibly) best team in the country, they lost by 1
I agree it won't be as drastic as some here are predicting, but I see nothing that makes me think it will be "close." Their game against Oregon was "close." We're nowhere near Oregon

I think we keep it within 10 points either way
