A complete game. We all saw what the usuals did. Heiden and Stuelke solid as usual. Fuerbach two huge back to back 3's. C.C. breaking the press and 3 point shooting awesome. Deal with a great game. Even the bench played well. Teagan with 2 assists in 2 minutes. Houston 4 boards 3 points. Hays with some big rebounds, assist, and a nice basket. Stremlow doing all the little stuff and bringing the energy. Whole team contributed today. Hopefully some good news about McCabe comes(which didn't look good)

That's the most complete game Iowa has played all year. They're hitting their stride at the best time they could given the stretch of teams they've played. I'll be curious to see how the UCLA game goes, it's wild to me the talent gap between the top 3-4 teams and the rest of the field. I know that's shrinking in more recent years because I think the talent pool is getting much larger, and NIL can pull 5 stars off the bench at the UCONN's of the world. I think Elite 8 is a realistic goal for this team, depending on the seed/draw.

That Ohio State team only lost by 7 to UCLA, so I'm willing to see how the Hawkeyes do.

Thats basically how we got Chit Chat. Jan hired Barret when they fired the HC at GT and she had a great relationship with CC.

Any one else shocked with how little we have seen Teagan this year. I know she was injured early, but figured by now she would be playing more. Also wonder if Callie will get more minutes with Taylor McCabe being out. She plays a little fast, but Callie certainly looks like a better athlete than most of the other guards (athlete does not equal better player).

If Taylor is out (Hope its not season ending) Callie will get some up grade in practice time no doubt. She always seems ready to scrap when she get in..

I have a stats question: Iowa had 40 defensive rebounds; Ohio State had 8 offensive rebounds for a total of 48 rebounds at the OSU end of the court. OSU hit 24 of 69 shots, so they missed 45 reboundable shots, which could include misses that went out of bounds without a rebound. So we got 48 of 45 possible rebounds. What's wrong with the way I am looking at rebounds?

All the bigs did a really good job cutting off the paint and Jan did a good job rotating them all so they could stay fresh and get back in transition

Best game I've seen from Ava on defense. She walled off the paint and stayed out of the cheap fouls.

Iowa would have won by +30 but Jaloni Cambridge is a hell of a player. She single handily kept Ohio State remotely in the game. Nobody else on OSU's team impressed me.

Shoot-howdy. My analysis was as flawed as usual. OSU missed three free throws, which perfectly account for my phantom rebounds.
