This is the WORST officiating I have ever seen. They just let Michigan player mug the Iowa players and never call a foul.

Let players jump on other players, fouls them and then call a jump ball. Even for a league that is known for bad officiating, these officials were terrible. Michigan players play like a bunch of thugs.
Oh my gawd. I'm so sick of getting ready to watch a basketball game only to be forced to endure a combination of wrestling, MMA and rugby. The officials let that game get completely outta hand, and it made for a miserable experience. The only consolation for me is that our Iowa Hawkeyes, figuratively, told the officials and the Michigan Thugarines they were mad as hell and weren't gonna take it anymore. The result:
4th Quarter
Iowa - 24
Michigan - 6
Final
Iowa - 59
Michigan - 42
To hell with the BIG and their incompetent, inconsistent officials and that outfit from Ann Arbor. Enjoy your ride home. You've never made it to the tourney final, and I hope you never do.
BTW: If I were coaching, I'd be inclined to pad my team up, helmets and all, and have them warm-up by practicing wrestling moves, rugby scrums, and MMA techniques. Basketball is bullshitt when the refs allow these public muggings and aggravated assaults. You try that stuff on somebody walking down the street, and you'll end up in jail. But most people just call it "physical" and move on. I call it asinine and keep hoping that someday, somebody will turn this game back into what it was in the 1970s and 1980s, a game of speed, quickness, and finesse. Enough of bullyball. Give me basketball back. And beat freakin' UCLA.
