I don't see how one can play when you get nothing, but the other team get's nearly everything. I don't believe we are as bad as everyone makes us out to be. When bad calls lead to points it's hard to compete. I can guarantee you that 10+ of their points would never have been scored without bogus officiating. This is why I believe we tend to do better in tournament games. Yes, we've been jobbed in the tournament, but regular season is far worse.

To add to this there have been too many momentum changing bad calls this game.
No. We suck. Our offense is trash. Refs ain't shooting 0 for the world on threes.
The officials could be wearing UK jerseys today and it wouldn't make any difference.
I know we're playing bad, but we've been hit with a high amount of ticky tack fouls.
And there's your prime example! 42 clearly has an offensive foul, but we get the call. You can't ignore that!

I don’t know why so many people think “bad officiating” can only mean “that’s why we’re losing.” You can play poorly and be the victim of bad officiating at the same time. We have been playing like hot garbage and deserve to lose this game. Period.

Why is this always the built in excuse? We're just not that good lol, the W @ West Virginia doesn't look nearly as impressive and we barely beat a terrible Vandy team at home. We have issues with this team and it's February.
Funny thing is once we get away from SEC officiating we always seem to do better. AKA tournament time!
Why do people feel the need to downgrade the win over West Virginia in every thread?
It's not a built in excuse. It's definitely a fact today. Many of their runs are off bad calls or obvious no calls.
We are just a clunker of a team this year 2 out of 3 games for the year and we stunk it up today....but college refs are just nonsense.
1. If you're a white dude...just run up under guys the entire game and fall down like you fell out of your momma's ****** and refs will 95% of time call a charge
2. If you bang in the post...off the ball fouls galore. But drive in for a shot and guys hit you while shooting...the calls are made about a third less vs. just dudes' banging in post for position. Which ones do you think affect a play more substantially? A dude shooting or a dude posting?
3. Game flow in college is like swallowing rocks...no flow, FT shooting contests, etc...

Every team has bad days but even on a bad day with decent refs we win this game. I usually don't complain about refs but today yeah they are terrible. This loss reminds me of South Carolina, easy to beat a team with everyone on our team in foul trouble. I guess at least in that game they were calling lots of fouls on everyone.
The refs caused at least 6 to 7 bad calls that killed momentum. Pat Adams needs to be in prison for fraud.
SEC games are awful. Conference games are awful. However, I noticed in the West Virginia game, bad officiating both ends BUT especially in the 2nd half, they let the kids play. Game gets physical and we played physical, crashing boards, using length. It was not always pretty but we are what we are. In this conference, officials will not let us be who we are. Cal has yet to try and adjust, there may not be a good option. My limited opinion.
