Seriously though, with no Shows, Ayers, Lucky, TV, or Higgins last night, you have to think we get 1-2 of them.

I'm fairly certain we won't have Higgins. I would imagine he'll be on the whistle for Puke, or at least in their region. Even if he were to ref UNC tonight, he would want to advance to the Elite Eight, and if we win there's almost no chance he would want to do a UK game.

SEC teams are 2-7 since 2011 in Higgins-officiated NCAA Tournament Games. Those 2 wins were blow outs in the 2nd round. 4 losses came by 4 points or less + 1 was "Wisconsin".

I PRAY we don't have Luckie again for the Sweet Sixteen. My, what ugly games he calls! Although....we do have a much better percentage on the free throw line this year than we did last year.

Go 'Cats!

If NCAA chooses to do this to us, then they can go to hell.
They won't get a penny from UK. We rather join European college basketball.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yeah, after all, Houston has a bigger TV market. That's all it's about these days. Damn corrupt NCAA.

They should be announcing the refs for MSU-LSU at any moment. Hopefully that will narrow things down a bit.

Please no Luckie, Sirmons, Ayers, Kimble (or Higgins) for UK!!!!!

If anyone hears who those refs are, please post here. Go 'Cats!

Tipton reports: "Referees for North Carolina-Auburn are Michael Stephens, Mike Reed and Gerry Pollard. Courtney Green is the standby ref."

Really hoping Luckie, Sirmons, Ayers, Kimble, Daily (and of course, Higgins...don't think we have to worry about that one) are calling the Duke game and also out of our Region . . . but it's looking more likely we might get one of them . . . hoping NOT!

Dailey was pretty darn bad, in the UT game, at the SEC tournament. I wouldn't want him.

They announce the refs for game 2 at halftime of the first game of the session. They take them to the team locker rooms and pass about probable starting lineup sheets with them on there.
