He’s the starting 4, played with Young at Northwestern. He’s 6’11 and pretty crafty so will likely be a tough matchup.

Definitely let Mitchell guard him on the perimeter. I thought he came in for Bacot but then again I don’t watch UNC .
Worried their old clowns will really bully our young players. Jon has to be mindful of it (obviously he is), and we must match their intensity and fight!! I expect a REALLY chippy Duke-Carolina game Scheyer wants to win badly for his predecessor.

Carolina looking like a 8-9 seed for consecutive years. No matter what in terms of the rivalry, a game we have to win on our home court.

Oh, and I just remembered this morning how much the Cheaters like to get the ball after a basket and run down ahead of the defense. We cannot give up easy baskets that way, or cheap fouls because we are out of position.
I did not like that they lost to Pitt. They are getting near the bubble at 15-7, and we need to match their intensity, as, rivalry aside, they probably need this win more than we do. I just hope Lively doesn't get 2 quick fouls. I like Young, but I'd rather not see him on Bascot for 30 minutes. We are currently favored by 4.

UNC has one quad 1 wins. Duke just needs to do what they have been doing. Shut down Bacot and Love someday in the next three years that might run out eligibility. I Leaky takes 10 three point shoots. It might be a good idea to start Blake’s for defensive purposes against Love. Love is hot and cold. Shut it down from the beginning and be as physical as they are.
Bacot gets away with a lot of pushing under the basket, maybe, the refs will call it. I expect Dariq to come back and be refreshed and hungry. I hope Duke smacks them in the mouth. This was supposed to be Carolina’s year returning 4 out 5 starters, but Manek is not there any more. Every time they needed a basket it was in his hands.
I doubt if lightning stricks twice.

Which is a bigger disappointment? - having the #1 recruiting class and being unranked OR returning 90% of your Final Four team and being unranked?....the latter gets my vote! GTHC
Flip can have a big game but they will probably put Leaky on him. We have more depth so we need to do like Pitt and play physical. In the past RJ and Love have made a lot of shots inside. Hopefully Lively can protect the rim. If we play our game we win.

There's not much we can do about bacot. He's like hanstravel. He will get every call possible no matter who the officials are. Not fair but that's the way it is and we need to win the game by playing the best game of the year. Better than G.T. so we are going to have to hit our few free throws and hope they miss theirs. My prediction is bacot will go to the free throw line 20 times or even more. Despite all of this we will beat them . The Crazies need to become the vintage Crazies. They need to cut their devices off and quit taking selfies and stay on bacot and the rest of the cheaters the full forty minutes. They play a big part in our success when they go all out. OFC
It is a must game. Win the next two and Duke has Virginia and at the cheats left. The rest of the games Duke will be heavily favored.
