we don’t want you to go anywhere! We know you will adapt and support you 110% !!!! The people hating on you are either a. non UK fans or overly emotional UK fans. Since you’ve been here you have brought great pride to our program and our state and have done it in the most selfless, ethical way possible. That says a lot in this day and age of over the top narsicisim. We as fans don’t always agree with everything you do but we support you and your family! There isn’t another coach in America we would want at the helm of our rich and storied program!! The top college basketball program in America!

Lately it’s been difficult for us the fans; however, I can’t imagine how difficult it is on you and your family. People will say “oh 7 million blah blah blah”. The bottom line is money doesn’t motivate coaches. Building players for a lifelong journey and satisfying the fans is what drives coaches. Not to mention the competitiveness to always be on top. We are very fortunate to have you as our head coach. You demonstrate a love for the state and brought us back from dark times. I just want you to know you are loved by 95% of UK hoops fans. Those who don’t well they will always want change no matter who is the head of our program.

I know you feel the angst of some recruiting misses and difficulties due to the unforeseen such as injuries this season. It’s probably more difficult for you than any of us bc you want nothing more than for UK to always be on top. If this wasn’t your dream job you wouldn’t have put up with the BS and would be a coach or GM in the NBA by now.

Hopefully this lifts your spirits a bit and helps you to know we are all in this with you 100%. You aren’t taken for granted!! Thank you coach!! We love you!

Have you considered his family?? With cal it’s not just about Cal. His wife, his son, his daughters. They say we ve had enough and he’s gone. You don’t get it. Coaching takes years from ones life. At times it’s the most thankless job right now is one of those times with the hyper criticism going on. Words of encouragement and appreciation will always be welcomed to a coach.

Alright alright alright. I edited it.
I send Cal roses every week. He knows exactly how much I love him.
I guess he may have moved, because lately they’ve been getting sent back for some reason.

I'm on board with Cal. Still think he's doing a fantastic job while having a hand (maybe two hands) tied behind his back. I think changes need to be made, sure. Sounds like he's pretty damn pissed about recent recruiting changes/shadiness.. just like we are.. and he's ready to do something about it.

Cal is my guy. Nobody better for this position and people will understand that when he's gone. Which I hope is after I'm gone.

Last few months lacks a "gold standard". Cal may need to "tweak" his recruitment. The "best of the best" went elsewhere this year.

We all love Cal and I think he is one of the top 2-3 coaches around...
We all hit a wall Sat...losing Zion...which turns out we never had...but him going to Duke made us Puke...and then playing so poorly at home against Florida...C\
Cal is stubborn and a fighter...I am thinking he will get it fixed soon and any of us who were critical might be looking stupid...

One thing to remember is.

Cal is battling Nike, the NCAA, some officials, and lots of negatives recruiting.

Amazing how he continues to punch. I hope when he leaves it doesn't stick because he's the only one who could manage that.

I mean coach K has only 5 titles with all of the wind in the universe at his back. It's not that impressive actually. Wooden smoked his *** in a similar role where he was allowed to be the benificiary of the machines will.

K has all the Media, (ESPN) Officials, NCAA, and $$$$$$$$$$$. He is exactly like Wooden with Gilbert...the NCAA will turn their heads. Heck if UNC can have fake classes for 20 years and get nothing K can give out cash payments on the bench and be clean...but Capel is doing that for him
