Dude is almost 7' tall, and can't go straight up under the basket and throw it down. Our team collective basketball IQ is slightly north of a cinder block

Rebounding is more than effort and hustle.
Its a skill, just like dribbling, shooting, fast break finishing, and blocking.

UT has players with more skill at rebounding than us. We have players with more skill than theirs in other areas.
Our D is excellent and holding them to 33%. Teams are better at some things than others when it comes to matchups.

We dont match up well vs them on rebounding. We do match up well with them on half court D.

X was 1 of 7 and 0-1 for 3's, at the point he took that last shot. X is either on or OFF. Honestly, though, Peters is probably the only one i'd have felt comfortable with taking that shot in that game. big spoon seemed rattled from outside after little spoon went down (understandably), and Tyson didn't have it all game. Peters probably should have just took it to the hole, and hoped to get fouled. hindsight, and all.

i should have made myself clearer in my original post. i was referring to that game, not season stats.
