Too many quick shots for me. I hope they get better at taking shots within the offense. The 2nd half, like many lopsided games, has turned into an AAU type of game.
Richmond will be a really solid test.
I think the writing is on the wall for him. Unfortunately, Cal is playing his new recruits over returning players. Same old, same old, no surprise there.
I like all the positive comments, but , guys, this is Morehead State. Let’s wait til we try Richmond.

I remind myself this is Morehead, but let’s not forget last years team lost in Rupp to a team that went 0-18 in their conference. I already think this years UK team will be better than last years. Much deeper to.
I always love these kind of comments as there is truth in this but what are supposed to not kick their *** and look good doing it? Richmond will be a great test . A much better one then GT or Notre Dame. But not too worried we are too talented for most teams on our schedule . Even this schedule which is great.

I am curious, I like more than the typical 7 kid rotation that Cal usually goes with. I know this is Morehead St. but we seem like we might be 8 or 9 deep at least with quality players. Do you all think that Cal will play more than 7 deep this year? Just interested in opinions!
no way that Toppin should be getting more minutes than Allen, but I do realize that they play different positions.

we looked good. we have players that mix it up and will stuff the stat sheets. very good versatility.
Dontaie Allen hasn't played a lot of basketball the last 2 years. He's not going to come out here and get 10-15 minutes. It's the first game ffs.

I watched a little of the game. Fell asleep during half of it. Guess hours in the deer stand will do that to you. This team reminds me of some of Cal’s Memphis teams. No superstars but a team full of guys who play hard. Best mid range team Cal’s had here. We’re skinny though. Interested to see how we hold up physically against the more mature teams in the league.
