This is the future of Kentucky basketball now. I don' expect it to get better next year or the year after that. The only way it does is by Calipari leaving period and taking these chumps with him. I do NOT want to see these guys return at all. Askew and Mintz especially. Both players are terrible and Calipari has no clue whatsoever on what to do. Calipari got his lifetime contract and doesn't care now.
We had this game and Askew again like he has the last 4 games screwed us. Allen taken out in the last 3 minutes and Askew and Mintz again cost Kentucky another game.
This is a sick joke and Calipari is to blame.

I wasn't even nervous tonight at the end of the game like I used to be to start the year and all the past years...you know why ? Because win or lose it just didn't matter so nothing to be nervous about.
That is the worst kind of feeling to have. Every year before this year and even to start this year up until the Georgia loss a loss made me sick to my stomach............since then I have felt nothing.
I rather feel sick to my stomach after a loss than this who care's feeling because that means the games actually mean something.
Right now these games are totally meaningless for the first time since I can remember.

No way Cal didn’t dodge Texas, he knew Texas would destroy what little confidence this bunch has.
Coach Cal is the same guy who took Kerry Kittles over Kobe Bryant. Enough said.
It’s quite possible that the dude is trolling the fan base. His ego is that big. He knows that he’s going to lose these games either way, so it seems he’s intent on losing and screwing with the fan base at the time.
Don't yens dare criticize these youngins, these here kids got dreams. I won't let you take their hearts. Clarke is injured alright, it's not easy figuring out a rotation at (checks papers) 5-11 into the season. Ware has hustle. I like my team.

First time in my lifetime I am indifferent with regard to UK basketball. I want them to win but I expect them to lose. Sad to say out loud but it’s true.
It wouldn't have been a loss if Allen hadn't been taken out in the final 3 minutes and when you have Askew and Mintz on the floor together, it's a dumpster fire and it smells of pure ****.
Final three minutes? Allen didn't get in the game in the second half.
Love cal. He is the perfect coach for all that the UK mbb job requires. That said, he deserves a lot of criticism for this year. A lot of criticism.

I agree that Calipari dodged Texas ... but I don't think it had anything to do with destroying the team's confidence. He just didn't want to take another bad loss - for his own sake. I don't think there was any more to it than that.
Well, maybe I was high or something because I thought he was in for a few minutes at least. Calipari is terrible. I truly believe Calipari does this to Allen because he knows how upset Kentucky faithful get when it comes to Allen. I have no other explanation for it because it makes absolutely no sense to take out a guy who provides 80% of the offense when he's in. When he isn't, it's TO's after TO's from these guys.
This is unacceptable and Calipari should be in the hot seat, not getting 10 million a year.

What you’ll hear tonight is “we’ve just got to clean things up”. And he’l throw out his usual dog whistle veiled reference to why Dante sat the second half without mentioning him by name. He’ll say something like, “we’ve got some guys who don’t want to fight and compete”.

Yeah. Can’t help but think Clarke could’ve really helped this team in conference play. He gives us another ball handler and would take most of Askew’s minutes IMO. Askew continues to kill this team, game after game.
I know Clarke didn’t quite play up to expectations, but he did show flashes of what he’s capable of. He’s the one guy on this roster that can beat his man off the dribble and collapse the defense.
I still think he’s the best player on this roster. He’s no savior, but we could definitely use his skill set. Unfortunately, it’s looking like we probably won’t see him the duration of the season.
