***OFFICIAL UK vs MISS ST GAME THREAD***

[johndeerefan]

Every shot attempt is a contested low percentage one. More movement is key

[FanofUK]

we struggle on offense and Cal puts TOPPIN in! Yep that will do it /wrist

[germuk]

This team shouldn’t be allowed to shoot anything that isn’t a three (by Askew, Mintz, or Allen) or a layup

[WalterTheHippo]

Boston is 2-9 from the field.

Toppin deserves more PT, IMO

[sam_o]

Toppon deserves more PT, IMO

Agreed. Allen also

[Crawfords Corner]

Askew is a stud

He didn't deserve the treatment from some of the fans on this board that he got after the first few games. Just needed a little time to adjust to the college game.

[RunninRichie]

Boston is 2-9 from the field.

“guys in front of allen have to miss shots”

[ManitouDan_anon]

Boston has had more of an impact at the salons in Lexington than on the basketball court

Eyebrows matter .

[CatEye2010]

On a run!

[MbergCat]

It could be worse. Just be glad Clarke is out.

I'd rather Clarke play and Boston be out.

[jbne222]

Toppon deserves more PT, IMO

Yeah I like Toppin. His shot selection is frustrating at times but he's scrappy and can defend/rebound

[FanofUK]

Toppon deserves more PT, IMO

No doubt he hustles, but he is no offensive power.

[LmdCat]

At least we will not have to worry about NBA draft night. Just the transfer portal.

The NBA is looking past the mess they see on the court while at UK. They will make their decision based on their AAU and high school numbers. As far as they are concerned this is a year off for the players.

[anon_q409idbs5m40a]

Same as our coach, just replace salons with all you can eat buffets

Duff's Smorgasbord.

[kywildcat1021979]

Damn we're playing zone again!

[jameslee32]

IJ block!

[RunninRichie]

I agree I never trashed him I knew he was a good player just needed some time I mean he’s a high school senior!

[Dr. H Lecter]

Basil Haydens assistant was Col. EH Taylor.

[jbne222]

Yeah I like Toppin. His shot selection is frustrating at times but he's scrappy and can defend/rebound

Andddddd right on cue with the bad shot

[RunninRichie]

Neat, cal telling us to wear our masks while his rides under his nose.

[FanofUK]

No doubt he hustles, but he is no offensive power.

Need I say more?

[Noxium322]

1 pass, 1 shot, 1 miss. Rinse and repeat.

[gwjenning]

I'd rather Clarke play and Boston be out.

Both can be in there together and that’s the worst of the worst

[rick64]

Yeah that’s the shot Cal wants from Jackson.

[RACdad]

We suck in the zone

[RunninRichie]

We suck in the zone

we suck period

[sam_o]

No doubt he hustles, but he is no offensive power.

We need more hustle and less guys who think they are an offensive power. Get enough of that with Boston

[LmdCat]

He would rather lose the game than to give Allen enough playing time to be productive. He can't let Allen make him look bad.

[CrazyCat74]

Gotta get Devins shots per game way up..

He should be shooting 12-15 times a game on this team.

[Dr. H Lecter]

When was Pappy VanWinkle our coach?

[jbne222]

Need I say more?

Yeah he's pretty unpolished with his game right now. Ultimate "no no no!" player whenever he shoots. Made some good plays against KU and UL but he's gotta stop taking bad shots and focus more on the energy role

[Titpwhami2014]

Why is Jackson allowed to shoot anything other than a dunk or lob is beyond me. Cal has given up!

[Blue_2_the_bone_rivals]

State is just letting our guys catch the ball in the post and not collapsing. They know our bigs can’t beat their bigs 1 on 1.

[RunninRichie]

He would rather lose the game than to give Allen enough playing time to be productive. He can't let Allen make him look bad.

It’s sad because it’s true.

[Soupbean]

Jackson driving left again..... I rest my case. Somebody tell Cal or one of the other three highly paid guys to get him on the other block please. The kid can score just needs to move right not left!

[Dr. H Lecter]

The ref today is Whistle Pig.

[Basscat1987]

Now cal is gonna play Allen minimal or no minutes at all in the 2nd half and later say he was trying to win the game. This is my problem with him. Need offense.

[anon_q409idbs5m40a]

1-7 is looking likely.

I freaking can't stand this team.

Truthfully, it could easily be 1-15 looking at the schedule and I'm not saying that in jest.
