they should have rolled with some of them for a series each quarter. No reason to not tget them more pt. They weren't playing behind world beaters.

Of the young linebackers on the team, I believe Weisskopf was the highest rated coming in.
No mention of him.
I'm no coach, but portal needs have to be a LB.
PP's approach has always been for the DLine to tie up the OLine and allow linebackers to make the tackle.
This season, 3 of the top 4 in tackles were defensive backs.

Pretty obvious that the guy who led our defense with 78 tackles and named honorable mention big ten can play. He really came on later in the season. Had incredible games against MSU and NU.

Doesn't take a coach to watch him play and know he can tackle.

And not all will land someplace. Kids kind of roll the dice these days looking for big $$ or increased playing time, unless they're a fairly big name. Maybe ending up noplace or buried in a little school.
