If THIS is the offense we run against winnable games at home vs. two really beatable teams in Iowa and Nebby...please tell me exactly why I would want to come watch us play vs. UM and PSU?

This was supposed to be a year of hope, development, and improvement. It has shown to be the same ol cluster of player personnel decisions, whacky play calling, and inability to make basic plays we've seen for years (again).

Road trip to Maryland? I was excited about the possibility. I'm no fool. I'm done now. NIL has nothing to do with coaching the players you have or calling the game in your pocket.

Season ticket holder since 2005. I think this may be my last season. Unfortunately, I've reached the point of apathy. My money is better spent elsewhere.

You spent the entire night telling us how horrible we are as fans

The fans that left while winning or down 1 with 5 minutes..yes

But im mistaken because when you give away 20k seats to non fans thats what happens

dont worry by tomorrow afternoon guys like Knightshift will be telling us how horrible we are as fans and its unfair to judge this team in year 3
at least @Knight Shift puts his money where his mouth is. At least 80% of these other clowns just rush over here to gloat how they told us so. I swear I think half these ppl root for the team to lose just so they can be right in their negativity. WORST. FANBASE. EVER.

Thanks for that. bac is not worth my time. Guy is transfixed on all aspect of misery, dissent and a horsey. Can only surmise he lives a miserable life, which he projects on the boards here. Nor are all of the other miserable cretins who crawl out of the woodwork after a loss.

The reality for Rutgers is that as bad as last night's loss was (it was horrible, inexcusable and completely on coaching--the penalties, the lack of discipline and burning 3 time outs (while on defense!!!) may have rivaled Ash's misuse of timeouts), Greg will be here at least for another year, if not for 2 or 3 or all 8. That's not my call or hope or wish, but the practical reality of the situation.

As noted by others, Rutgers has an identity and competence at least on defense. I'm still not 100% sold on special teams, and I don't agree with not having a dedicated special teams coach. The first 4-5 games, there were numerous boneheaded penalties on special teams too. The lack of discipline and penalties is entirely on coaching and disorganization on offense. A change should be made there, IMO. Not going to be even a mediocre B1G team with only a strong defense, and a horrific offense and offensive game plan.

Speaking of offense, Gio chimed in on Twitter last night, and he's not wrong:

And this is funny:

On the positive side, RU will have a ton of good players next year.
Tell me how ? Portal ?
The losses will be staggering next season:
Offense- WR Cruikshank, WR Jones, WR Ryan, TE Langan, TE Alaimo, RG DiRenzo, P Korsak
Defense- S Izien, S Young, CB Abraham, CB Braswell, DT Maijeh, DT Ananotu, and if Max Melton returns

The only Big 10 caliber player on that offensive list is DiRenzo. The others, while starters here, aren't really hard to replace.

Tell that to ExtraPoint. He is raving about how many high caliber players are returning next year.
Fact is a majority of them are gone after this season.

And you are dead wrong. Izien, Young, Abraham, Maijeh, Langan, Cruikshank, Korsak are not B1G caliber ?
WRONG

First, I said offense. And no, I don't believe Cruik or Langan start on any competitive Big 10 teams.

I think most of the negativity is from fans from of teams and not really RU fans, and they come here on game day, and come in force when RU loses a game.
Nope I bleed scarlet and I never attended the school. Friday night was bad. Something is very wrong here.
