Oklahoma did not deserve to be in. They plummeted in the last ten of their games. Sadexcuse? LOL! Really? And the ACC gets 9 teams in? Again--LOL! And Baylor was one of the last 4 out? LOL! I think USC got screwed. I think they deserved to be in.

USC beat no one.......absolutely no one

I don't think Cuse should get in over St. Mary's and USC. I guess they got a lifetime achievement award this year. Glad ND didn't get in. People kept talking about the guys who were hurt, who cares? That's how seasons go.

Also, Arizona St. IMO should never have gotten in over USC. They may have had really good wins early on, but they sputtered down the stretch and were under .500 in the league.

This is the worst Sunday Selection show in years. Between the delayed audio, live audience, and the time filler by announcing all the teams beforehand.

Awful.

I realize they didn't have strong wins, but do you think Arizona St. was more deserving. I'm basing my decision on USC getting to the final of the PAC12 tournament.

In regards to live audience the Selection Show has finally jumped the shark, It's like watching Big Brother with their audience hooting.

Exactly. Bonzie (sp?) Colson was out. It's part of life. There were plenty of teams that lost top players. What is this tournament then? Nothing but a bias political gesture? Clemson lost their best player at the end. I didn't see the pundits support them, when they were playing great ball and should would have been a higher seed.

Disagreed with Cuse but not much else-----the way teams finished had no impact.

It was on the whole body of work.

ASU had wins over 2 # 1 seeds away from home-----huge factor.

I'll be curious to see how the ACC does. The NCAA thought they were the best overall conference, because if Davidson had not won, they would have allowed ND in, which would have made 10 teams. They would have left Sadexcuse in there and included ND.

Penn State lost to Texas A'M' early in season. Win that game would they be in?

Question for those here: Do you think Michigan St. as a 3 seed is fair or should they be a number 2?

There was room for us in the " R " slot at large. Only Rhode Island made it.
Guess we weren't considered.

As far as the play in games vs. the 10 seeds. The Big 12 teams got preferential treatment for the quality of the conference over the UCLA/ASU's of the world. Think UCLA was the most "hosed" as far as not being a 10 seed.

I think its fair, Purdue may have been a smidgeon better than them based on some rpi metrics and they were pretty close this year although MSU won head to head. Could have gone either way

UCLA was another school light on quality wins...Ky, asu, az but was that it? They should just consider themselves lucky to get in

they needed to beat Purdue and not lose to Rider but yeah they need to beat A&M, they had nothing OOC to point to...the Big 10 better start scheduling tougher OOC

Agreed. But I still don't like that Duke gets the benefit. And I'm not talking about switching MSU with Duke. Duke I believe should have been a 3 and not in the same bracket as MSU. Just my opinion. (Sorry, this is my reply to you over my initial question).

Ill suggest it again. Nix the NIT and put those 32 in for 96. Give the top 32 byes. You're already playing these 2 extra play in days. If this is for National championship eliminate these bubble debates for these Power conf. And get more mids in.
Far less debate and chance for leaving out a potential winner down at 92 to 100.

Selection show getting ripped on Twitter
What DOESN’T get ripped on Twitter? That’s like saying the sun rose in East this morning. That said, “Twitter” is right this time. Everything about it sucked but since It was TBS I guess I should’ve known.

There'd still be a bubble debate. Teams 97-110. Just like there were debates when there were 48 teams in the tournament, etc.

Even Maryland would be on that bubble this year (although the Terrapins did not make the NIT)...
