Penn state pouring it on...shame that this looks like a blowout as expected to most observers

No doubt a hold on that long pass. Right in front of the backfield judge. Pretty clearly missed.

This score is getting ugly
but the game is closer than the score.
There is hope for the future.

Our defense has been on the field all of the second half.

They are tired and we're subbing in guys who wouldn't normally be in there in the secondary.

For instance, who is #37..?

promising start like against Michigan but overwhelmed going away in the end. RU has certainly cut the gap in terms of competitiveness but games like this show just how far we have to go to compete with the tops in the league. You cannot be defecient in an area like QB and expect to win, hopefully next year we take another leap

It's all artificial though.

It's Ash and Kill's MO to eat up as much clock as possible to keep the defense as fresh as possible. When the same 3 running plays are figured out, it pretty much kills any semblance of offense RU might have.

How is Grant hurt again? That didn't even look like a tough tackle. They kind of all just went to the ground.

I want to be positive, I really do! But seriously, we haven't seen the endzone all game. Our QB couldn't hit the ocean from the beach, wide receivers can't get open...

Oh, and we finally have our first 1st down in the 2nd half. With 5:40 to go in the game.

But not as bad of a loss.

You know statements like playing not to lose is pure fan BS. You develop a gameplan based on what you have on the roster. If you want to *****, ***** about a QB who can't lead with his arm or WR's who aren't open.

5-14 for 30 yards is all you need to know.
