This OL is very disappointing…2 stud backs consistently getting contact at/behind the LOS.

Oregano is creating holes...PSU not so much.

We knew the offense was going to be different. We knew the gimmicks were coming. And I don’t like the gimmicks.

Just wait until we see what they do off the Pena jet sweep later in the game … will it be a straight reverse? A pass back to Allar to throw downfield? Both those things?

Pena can outrun Villanova defenders. Not so much Oregon defenders.

Nobody gets open on this team. Allar needs to be better, but he hasn’t had much help from his WRs during his career.

Like: motion and shifts to keep a defense guessing

Hate: gimmick plays and bad route trees

additional hate: running tempo and play 2 is a basic run right up the middle, killing tempo

We saw the overhead of that play--nothing was available--awful route combinations. HS coaches are better.

THere's no way the defensive front can keep up this pace through the fourth quarter. They will be gassed big time. The offense needs a long drive or two to keep them off the field.

I am concerned about that big Oregon OL wearing the PSU DL down. PSU offense needs a sustained drive w/points so the defense can rest.

#1 was wide open on 2nd down if Allar throws quickly. We had a receiver deep on 3rd down because they didn't have a safety. But rush didn't give Allar time.
