Yeah, it’s the typical situation where everyone expects the WRs to be Superman, and the QB gets away with poor play. Happened last year, too. Allar has to make a better throw there. Hudson would have made a 10.0 difficulty catch in order to make that play. Behind you (in 2 ways), when you didn’t have time to properly jump and adjust … your body control has to be superhuman to make that. And then you get hit in the arms while doing it.

I’ve seen a lot of short throws that were off and the WR bails the QB out. It happens at all levels.

Look, it's a TD if receiver hangs onto ball and ball was placed where receiver got both hands on ball (receiver did not need to run anywhere to score TD - all he had to do was catch the ball that he got both of his hands on). The ONLY reason a TD was not scored there is because the receiver dropped a ball that he had both hands on. 100% of the blame for not scoring a TD there falls on the receiver - the qb put the ball in a place where receiver got both his hands on the ball in the endzone and dropped the ball. It is not the qb's fault a TD was not scored there and nobody in the NFL would view it as the QB's fault a TD was not scored.
