Congrats to the boys. An up and down kind of confusing season but the team avoided the letdowns we’ve seen previously. The effort should be commended.

Jake kept it interesting today.

I agree. The big advantage for Carter is that he played LB in HS. He already understands the position and plays with discipline. In HS, Micah was a stand up DE and was allowed to roam. Big adjustment for him in college. Carter stays home when he should. Micah didn't at first.

He wasn't a LB in HS though. Carter was. Parsons has a lot of bad habits when he came to PSU. Carter is disciplined from his experience at the position.

Fair point. But people forget that PSU moved Micah to LB. He was a DE in HS. Carter was a LB in HS. In hindsight, PSU would have probably been better off leaving Micah at DE. He is a major force at DE.

Some folks can complain all they want about CJF. The fan base that should be pissed is MSU. Tucker suckered them in using the portal to get some success and that large contract. If he can actually develop talent and build that program I will be surprised.

Say what you want about Tucker but his roster is depleted from the suspended players and injuries and they still competed. Didn't quit. I expect they will be better next year.

It's beautiful to watch the line he takes to the ball, and his closing speed is ridiculous. The blitzes are so much better with him out there.

The head coach for the NY Football Giants was @ the game. You know he made notes for his staff to keep tabs on Carter for the future. Of course as the Giants improve, they probably won't be in a position to draft Carter. If Carter's trajectory continues upward he is going to be pegged as a very high 1st rounder. Dude is a missle.

huh?? the opening play of this series was a run. It may have been designed to go between the tackles, but Allen broke it wide (or it was designed for him to do so).

I recall he attempted to run between the tackles but it was stuffed so he bounced outside.

My point was that MSU was attacking the LOS and daring PSU to pass, and PSU played right into their hands. The closer the score the more conservative the play call.

Until 4th down and Franklin lost confidence in Pinegar.
