If we had a draw play or screen it could have been used on the last series. There was plenty of time. This allows free runs at Clifford.

PSU has ONE playmaker on offense. Nobody else steps up. Lovett with a terrible drop earlier. Clifford misses a wide open TD to Lovett on the last drive. Difference between 7-6 deficit and a 3 point or larger lead (6 or larger if not for Franklin’s ill-advised fake FG).

Can’t adjust too much for having swinging gates at OT. The UM D will jump the short stuff knowing we can’t block them long enough to go downfield.

7-6 should be the score regardless even if PSU makes the first quarter FG. Wallace should have been flagged for holding on that last drive.
