It was the right spot on the field to go for it, but why even fake the sweep to #5. It just gave the D time to penetrate. Take the snap and go. Not a fan of the play calling so far.
The play calls by this coaching staff are simply infuriating at times!
It doesn't help when one player messes up their block every run. Walker beat badly inside. Warren isn't a natural runner either.
Agree about the fake. Give it or just plow ahead.
I'd rather 4th and 6 then 4th and 1 with this offense.

Yeah, the OL can be really disappointing... Like just now................. Thankfully we were able to convert.
Just last series. 10 got to the edge and couldn't run away from anyone. Ended up stopping and trying to reverse field. I'd love for any one of our backs just to lay some damn wood on a tackler.

I thought they looked good early in the season, although we could only pass block then. Now we don't pass or run block, that will result in poor offense. SOmeone needs to be called to account for this offensive line.
Do you have a problem with running the wildcat using a big backup TE? It’d be crazy to use someone like an RB or WR.
It depends on an active running QB and an accurate deep passer. We have neither maybe if Clifford was 100%
Almost another dumb coaching move. We had the punt block play on a 4th and 3 and the kid Almost jumped offside. You only go for the block on 4th and 6 or more. This is not rocket scientist stuff.
Not just frustrating but boringgg!! I like a good defensive battle every once in a while, but my God is this boring!
The issue with the running game is that the backs are not explosive enough to hit the holes coupled with the line not holding their blocks. Saquon didn't need the line to hold their blocks long.
