Official PSU - Iowa '25 game thread

[KingLando]

But why would he force the ball in that spot at all. Reynolds was covered and it was a terrible throw and the play design was trash.
We paid big money for these receivers and we throw the ball to our overrated tightened.

Because that's his read and he's learning so he's going to make mistakes

[stater02]

This play calling the past 3 drives sucks. Leave the Big Zamboni in Iowa. Short drive for him back to his home state of Minnesota.

[AvgUser]

Does Kotelnicki have a pass play longer than 3 yards ..

Kotelnecki is like Ferentz son

[KingLando]

What the hell is AK doing? Proving he's an idiot?

[Snide75]

How did the oc survive this charade? Everything about this offense is offensive

[anon1793628996]

Nearly unwatchable.

[Nothing Special]

Nice job allowing them to keep their last timeout.

[LMTLION]

We rely on playground shovel passes. How much does AK make?

[Nits1989]

So Franklin wanted to renegotiate before THIS season, huh?

[NedFromYork]

Smith is overmatched right now, and Ferentz knows it. Hopefully he manages the game better in the second half and onward.

[pendal1]

This isn't baby ball. He should know not to force that throw at this level.

[Knickslions69]

Who gives his gum a better workout, Luke Fickell or Ferentz?

Pete Carrol

[WestSideLion]

We are seeing exactly why Franklin got fired. He built a coaching staff that just isn’t good and it finally caught up with him.

The only way to fix it is an entire regime change and rebuild.

[AvgUser]

BS CALL

[Tom McAndrew]

Singleton running OOB was not smart. If we were in Iowa territory, it would be fine, but he shouldn't do that in PSU territory.

[JVP_Yahweh]

Iowa is very beatable. Unfortunately I am not sure we can get more than 10 points

[jmorovich]

0 sucks

[LMTLION]

Dumb f’n call.

[KingLando]

Smith is overmatched right now, and Ferentz knows it. Hopefully he manages the game better in the second half and onward.

To be fair, he's burden with AK

[Nittering Nabob]

Does interim Head Coach Smith can AK after this game and let Howle call the plays?

[Paws057]

Stupid penalty

[PAgeologist]

Nice job 0

[JVP_Yahweh]

That woman ref is HORRIBLE!!!!

[KingLando]

Does interim Head Coach Smith can AK after this game and let Howle call the plays?

Doubt he has any real power

[Paws057]

So Franklin wanted to renegotiate before THIS season, huh?

I can see why now

[PAgeologist]

[MtNittany]

Stupid penalty

It used to be called a tackle.

[AvgUser]

Well, we beat the 6-4 team

[Tom McAndrew]

wtf, DeLuca?

[NedFromYork]

He shouldn't have called timeouts when Iowa was at the goaline. QB in his first start and we get the ball to start the second half.

[PSUAVLNC]

A BS TD and a BS late hit.

[Paws057]

It used to be called a tackle.

Used to be…lol

[pendal1]

It really is. Grunk was in a nice little rhythm and Andy starts with the shovel passes and forcing the ball to 85. Throw the ball to the wideouts.

[Nittering Nabob]

That woman ref is HORRIBLE!!!!

I think it's the 3rd time the B1G has appointed her to do our games.

[KingLando]

Okay--Terry you don't call at timeout when they're attempting a 66 yard FG buddy

[AvgUser]

wtf, DeLuca?

No that was a horrible call

[KingLando]

Okay good timeout lol

[rudedude]

A BS TD and a BS late hit.

And targeting wiped out earlier when it was obvious

[LMTLION]

Hahahahahahaha

[Paws057]

Okay--Terry you don't call at timeout when they're attempting a 66 yard FG buddy

He’s probably always wanted to do that
