Just as I wrote that … they had a better one. Catching it one-handed against the defender’s body and bringing it in. Jeez

If they bring out Clifford again, they deserve to have both of them transfer. I’d be furious if I was either of those guys. Watching Clifford struggle all season, and then being in control like this and still not getting to play…?

It’s stupid and insulting.

Good to see a running game today. Liked seeing Franklin showing emotion at that call. All in all, a very good performance so far.

They almost always let the starter get a series or two in the 2nd half before pulling him. It’s not like we were up 40.

We weren’t up 40, true, but the defense has been smothering Indiana’s O, and Indiana also has multiple major injuries. There was nothing to fear.

It would be very strange for any team to bring in the backup earlier. You make sure the 2nd half is going your way, and then you pull your starter. I want Allar in there as much as anyone (probably more), but this was the right move.
