I just saw Bilas on ESPN talking about Duke and the others. First off, he didn't look as healthy as I'm used to seeing him. I'm serious, he was not shaven and looked thin in the face.
I give him credit, he's sharp on college hoops. Says what we've all said, that Duke is talented, young and probably the biggest Duke team ever.
He likes Michigan State.
I think this Duke team can be really special, and whoever wins it will have won it in maybe college basketballs most competitive season in quite a while. There's some really good teams this year. Seems like when Duke is really good, so are a few others.

Yeah I just watched the same clip. Bilas does look sick or different. Something isn't right but I hope he's ok. He's ok in my book but I'm still pissed he went out of the way to defend UNC.
UK will be tough this year and they're a top 10 team, UNC not so much. UNC will lose 12-13 games this season.
I don't understand the ranking for UK other than being ranked off their name, honestly. This is probably their first team in the Cal era that doesn't have a definite lottery-pick. Knox is probably gonna be their best player, he wouldn't even start on our team. They are extremely young, and though most of their freshman are talented, none of them are "for sure OAD's." Honestly I think UNC will have a better season than UK.
Like them or not, UK is ranked where they are because of Cal. Even though he's "only" won one title there, he typically has his teams tournament ready and are a tough out.
Carolina may be good, but a lot depends on whether their bigs are helpful.
Okay. Aren't the preseason polls a way to ranks teams as of day 1 of the season? As in on November 10th who the top teams will be? I do believe that UK will be scary come March as they always are. But this UK team isn't like the others, they don't have "the guy." Just a bunch of lower tiered 5-star guys and Gabriel back. JMO but if UNC and UK played on November 10th (and Barry was healthy) I think UNC would win by more than 5. UK should be better than UNC by March.
