Official Nebraska vs Fordham prediction thread

Based on everything we saw yesterday we may as well start early. Tried to find a Fordham forum to see what their strengths and weaknesses are but it looks like their forum was shut down.

I am going with 42-14 Nebraska. Logan smothers only plays the 4th quarter since its only 28-14 entering the 4th

Sellout streak ends. 60000 attendance. Won't see a backup QB on field except pregame. Martinez atleast 1 fumble, 1 int and 5 missed wide open receivers. Atleast 3 stupid penalties. AND I will miss my first home opener in years. Pains me to say this

AM spots them seven with a pick six to start the game, special teams leaves 5 points on the field and Nebraska pulls out the win 17-16.

An almost empty stadium would be awesome and send a message. Won’t happen though…..people are too bored on Saturday and don’t have enough to do otherwise anymore

I don’t think that any of our captains had a remotely respectable game yesterday. How about bench all the captains for the first half as consequence for the way they played yesterday. Probably win anyway and it may send a message.

I say a 42-21 type game. This shold be a 63-10 type game though.

I could also see Nebraska winning like 52-7 and then losing to Buffalo the following week.

No, we're saving that for a conference game in which we're behind by 4 points late in the fourth quarter.

52-7. They will award 4 more blackshirts, and people will once again talk about how great our O line, receivers, running backs, and defense is. But Smothers will throw 4-5 with a TD and have one nice run, so the board will mostly be talking about starting him.

Some improvements from the team.. Only 2 overhead snaps from Jurgens, only 3 fumbles by Martinez, only 1 special teams gaffes by CTB.

Blowout, 45-17 Skers. Gives SF a little breathing room (unfortunately, as it'll be delaying the inevitable).

Just stop. You guys are destroying Fordham. Time to see if a backup QB is any good. Let’s see if Buffalo is another Troy, but they lost some key pieces
