Surprised the nantz team is working Thursday /Saturday rather than Friday /Sunday .

I guess Greg Anthony is officially out ? I know he was suspended last year

Harlan is the best

He's good , but Harlan is more of a radio guy.
Nantz is the best and that's why he has been doing the final four for almost 30 years . He's also done it with 6 different comentaties over that span . The one constant : the great nantz .

Nantz and Raft are in Des Moines with the big boys - IU, UK, Kansas, and UConn.

For anyone watching online (or on the app), have you noticed they no longer seem to be offering the option to watch full game replays? All I've found were the 'full game recaps'. (i was checking to watch the end of the Holy Cross game)

Maybe I missed something? or maybe they weren't offering/setting it up for the play-in games?

Solid showing early on by UNCW let's see if they can keep it throughout the game.
Starting to slip away, hope they have a run in them somewhere. Duke is taking it to them now.

EDIT: They're still scratching and clawing. Down 5 with about 4:30 left.

That was a good opening game. Duke just a little too much for UNCW.

And Butler takes care of Texas Tech meaning that they'll most likely get UVA.

What a turnaround by Uconn.

I have Iona somewhat worried but they are hanging tough after the poor start

Iona lack of composure down the stretch hurt them and took away from their big comeback

UConn changed the game with their defense in the second half. Sounds like an argument for Pikiell who is off the Calhoun tree. Bring that defense to the banks and as I have said, shooters have to be recruited but you can teach and motivate people to defend. It is a great equalizer when you don't have all the horses. It gets you to respectability and then recruiting gets you over the hump.

The madness has begun and we have our 12 over 5 win. Of course I've lost a sweet 16 team in Baylor but who cares, lol. I love upsets.

Another 5/12 upset in the works? Ark-Little Rock takes Purdue to OT with a nice comeback at the end of the game. 18-5 run in the last 3 mins or so.

Was it me or was that end game and OT about as poorly coached as it could possibly be?

no it was poorly coached...I hate that whole waste time dribbling thing or in the 2nd ot, lets just have one guy dribble into defenders instead of setting up a play..also the bonehead move the PU player at the end of the first OT where they had 5 seconds and he just let the clock run...the coach is to blame there. I have seen similar meltdowns by Purdue by the past two years...even both games against RU last year, big PU leads cut into because they couldnt close it out.

And Providence takes it in the last seconds. USC couldn't make some FTs to help expand the lead.

survive and advance. Very good 8/9 game, right down to the buzzer. I think the Pac 10 may end up looking sketchy before all is said and done as 3 of 4 have already been sent packing. I expect Oregon State to join tomorrow. This conference is waaaaaaaaaaaaay overrated

Great games today. The ones in Denver have been particularly full of juice. Amazing crowd there all day today. I'm 14 for 16 in my bracket, losing Baylor and Colorado. Gotta love my Iowa State boys, too. Hopefully this is the start of a big run for them. I've been following them very closely every since Fred Hoiberg went there 6 years ago, and I'm still following them now.

Poor Seton Hall.. Looks like altitude got to them. Gonzaga is about 1800-1900 feet.. While not smile, it is more than 150 feet or whatever SHU is..

So which upsets are on tap for today?
I would say Maryland on watch.

all that talent. poor coaching, poor chemistry. and Trimble can't hit threes anymore.

So. Dakota state guard driven team who has multiple guys that hit threes ,including a freshman who can really go off.

one of those games where Maryland will get too many easy baskets and putbacks ,which probably get them by

Pac 12 appears overrated just like I thought...Oregon State should be next to go. We shall see with Cal vs Hawaii
