Yup. Think it was escorts to recruits.. Can't stand him either but he can flat out coach. Been a winner every where he's went.
I guess they could use a few years to get back to relevance. But he needs to groom a successor.

I mean, I've seen where he is connected to that and the Georgetown job. Personal issues aside, Pitino would bring either of those back to prominence. He's a top-12 coach probably all time.
Florida Atlantic has had about 14 shots around the rim or from 3 that have just bounced out. Memphis is better than an eighth seed. I think whoever wins this beats FDU. I just don't see how you can come back down to earth after beating a one seed as a 16.
That's rough to see. I do feel bad for Purdue and their fans.
It's no fun to be on that end. They've been a very solid program. But oof those early exits.
Lavin always was **** about Duke, though. I always thought he looked like a background cast member of The Sopranos.
We've been there as a two and a three seed, albeit with weaker teams, unlike Purdue, who actually had the pieces to win a title.
Oh, I don't mean that as a slight. I just didn't like how he spoke about Duke. Always came off super jealous.
I doubt they move on from him, but he has to be feeling the pressure. Purdue has always been this way though. They can win the Big Ten but not the big game in the Big Dance. Even when Gene Keady was there, who is a legend, but never got to the mecha.
Get Edey back, get a transfer guard, they will be good again. But man they need to make a run.
