Official Mustard Buzzard Game Thread

[TrueMaroonGrind]

What a drive!!! Let's keep it up.

[DesotoCountyDawg]

Nice pass AND catch.

[bulldognation]

That TD pass was beautiful

[Dawgbite]

Honestly can't tell much difference in the sound system.

[muddawgs]

What’s the deal with flipping the bird? I got a good chuckle out of it.

[USAFAMMO]

Nobody uses the chat anymore?

[SyonaraStanz]

Very good start offensively. Stevens is a major upgrade in the passing game.

[Duggar Hall Desk]

Early air success can only open up the running game.
Tighten up, run defense.

[CochiseCowbell]

Is KT on the bench in uniform?

[Seinfeld]

Really happy for Osirus. Defense continues to concern me

[Fogdog]

I know I run the risk of getting **** on, but anybody else hoping for better run defense early on here? Damn!

[Shamoan]

It could be 800 million and it would still sound like loud garbage

[TBone.sixpack]

D looks like ****

[Duggar Hall Desk]

I know I run the risk of getting **** on, but anybody else hoping for better run defense early on here? Damn!

It's bad right now

[SyonaraStanz]

When did we rehire Sirmon?

[Seinfeld]

USM is averaging over 6 yds/carry so far. It's got to get better because this is pathetic

[UpTheMiddlex3Punt]

Looks like the tutors were going to practice for the D players

[The Maroon Pug]

Interior D-line getting pushed back a lot on this drive.

[UpTheMiddlex3Punt]

Also, can we fire whoever in the athletic department thinks white helmets are a good idea?

[dawgman42]

And LBs are out of position to hit the RB. I swear that Leo takes every other play off.

[BoDawg.sixpack]

I was about to post, our defensive alignments are broadcasting where they should go with the ball. Leaving too many gaps in running lanes.

[Fogdog]

Dodged that bullet...thank God. Not thrilled with D so far.

[KeyserSoze1999]

Quick Takes: USM is Fast. MSU lost ALL of our Defense ability in the NFL Draft.

[HumpDawgy]

It's past time to move Leo to DE/edge rusher. He is not a tackler or cover backer

[muhstate]

Also, can we fire whoever in the athletic department thinks white helmets are a good idea?

It's hot as balls out there, white helmets I'm sure are helpful right now.

[Duggar Hall Desk]

Love using the TE in the passing game

[57stratdawg]

Deer Lorde - Kylin...

[Fogdog]

Deer Lorde - Kylin...

Yeah, that was a WTF run.

[UpTheMiddlex3Punt]

I liked that "option screen" play. I know it didn't gain much, but I think we could break some big gains with that this season.

[DesotoCountyDawg]

It’s amazing what can happen when you have a QB that can throw and understands the offense.

[garddog]

My mom who is pushing 80 said earlier that she doesn't remember state passing this accurately maybe ever.

[dawgman42]

Good grief that was an easy TD!! Love it!

[Antonio Brown's Foot]

This isn't your father's Southern Miss

They haven't beat State in over 30 years...and it shows.

[BoDawg.sixpack]

Our WR's are +5" over their defensive backs.

[HumpDawgy]

I believe we have found a passer boys.

[Seinfeld]

Funny how pedestrian a top notch defense looks when it finally plays a good team. Outside of Auburn, their '18 schedule was like one giant season of homecoming games

[Duggar Hall Desk]

Stop missing tackles!

[HumpDawgy]

I'm not a fan of shifting LBs. Keep Errol in the middle and move Cole to outside receiver. We have Leo on receiver, Errol outside and Cole over center.

[Msubulldogfan1]

Best 3 play series of the year so far by the D. Good stuff.

[BoDawg.sixpack]

Now THAT is some stout Defense!!
