It's gonna go one of two ways with this team. A pleasant surprise Sweet 16 team, or a complete dumpster fire. Don't see any middle ground with the players I'm seeing right now on the floor. Leaning dumpster fire.
***** OFFICIAL Little Rock vs UK GAME THREAD*****

I'm glad Williams' Dad is on the staff ... he may be our best coach, based on how his son plays.
Mason Williams, a 4-star freshman, is our best guard. Let that sink in.
I’m not just talking about tonight either. He is a better athlete and more confident than either of the other two, who are making millions. What on Earth are we doing at Kentucky?

Wilkins taking just henious shots. What the **** are you doing
He looks like he’s actually into it and interested. Pope walks back and forth with his hands on his hips. He has no fire
The whole good move and then brick is terrible. Wilkins needs to SIT. Dude you don’t have to shoot every time you cross half court. Learn what a good shot is.
Positives: Moreno's rebounding, Momcilivic's shooting, Williams poise.
Negatives: literally everything else
Negatives: literally everything else
Will someone tell Milan that if he refuses to shoot then Wilkins will shoot a turnover into the books.
Barely beating a Little Rock press with our height and then missing a two-footer is not a good look.
I honestly was thinking the same thing. Like what would he do with this roster? It would look better than this I think.
If he's watching this, he's already got the list out ready to speed dial some.
The fact that Pope lets Wilkins keep taking these shots is an absolute joke. He has to have the balls to sit guys on the bench when they keep making the same mistake over and over. If Pope doesn't see that as a mistake, then that is a whole other type of problem, and worse.
McBride looks like a 40 year old dad.
Remember, the guy started in the B1G. And his team was absolutely garbage.
Pope looks like he is thinking of where he is going to end up next year, moving plans, etc
feels like each possession we take a shot inside 10 seconds. cant play fast when you cant get open. no easy looks.
We can’t even get a whistle in an exhibition. Pressing and only 1 foul in 13 minutes.
I thought ford was good last year as an analyst. And he was repping UK on secN.
Wilkins from behind the arc. Bad night for our “second best shooter”.
Mitch didn’t panic, he didn’t even try. He tried to get his bible buddy, but when that failed his Mormon buddy was like “how ‘bout this Mormon guy.” And Mitch was like, “Mormons are like super Christian or something. Sign me the f*** up!”
Mitch spent years treating the job like he was working at a religious college.
Milan like dang yall paid me this much cash to not give me the ball?
Cooool...
Cooool...
Sadly Ford is a narcissist. As bad as pope is he’d crumble under this spotlight. He couldn’t handle freaking St Louis
The Unc getting buckets at the park.
I’m not impressed at all. I hope they’re just taking it easy since it’s an exhibition but the only good player is Williams. Where are the plays to get momcilivic open? I hope they realize if they can’t get him open against Little Rock they won’t get him open ever.
Unfortunately, not even remotely in that conversation! 30 minutes into this game tells anyone with an ounce of basketball knowledge.
The crowd has had no energy all night. Coaches have no energy. You can tell there’s a cloud hanging around the basketball program right now. There’s no optimism or excitement anywhere
Thats completely on the coach too. You sit him and he will learn what a good shot is.
They better hope they get Noah back in a hurry
The fact Momcilivic feels like he doesn’t exist in the game is a total coaching issue. No way that should happen.
Has Poped coach at all tonight or has he paced with a stoic face all night ?
Only problem is none of the players appear able to or want to get Momo shots.
You jest, but maybe Pope really did get this guy off a park league roster.
He’s got his arms crossed. His typical look. Whatever he does while doing that, I don’t know how much coaching happens.
The latter
need kam williams to come back bad so we can play mason williams, cam williams, milan, hawthorne and moreno.
