Always liked him. People leave for lots of reasons. But he did bail. No I’ll will, but look at what he missed !
He left in the middle of the night. Didn't say goodbye. Now he gets to eat it.

This. He was a ball stopper, and he was not quick enough to play his man on the perimeter and drop back down like our D did so well this year.. I think that we are better off. Especially since he refused to get his knees fixed in the off season. The dislocation of one or both of those knees caps was bound to happen again.

No reason for spite. EO on this team probably misses several games due to injury, which would have made RU a worse team. Todd Billet, Dontae Jones, Eugene Omoruyi...they made decisions on what was best for them. Not everyone is a stand up guy and that is part of what make Geo Baker special when the others are ordinary.

They are a pretty good program. Would be funny if he didn't start next year. He also has zero chance of playing in the NBA - just wanted to add that.
I loved EO, as did most of the rest of you, as he was a warrior for us, but the way he left was pretty ******, especially for a team captain, so you reap what you sow.
Wasn't yeboah his replacement? I like yeboah... Wish we had him longer
Instead of laughing at him, maybe we should thank him for freeing up minutes for a better player. With him I don't think they win many of those games as he steals many of Yeboah’s minutes. Yeboah was a huge upgrade IMO and the team chemistry is night and day better.
I was gonna wait until selection sunday for this but I'll join in....suck it Eugene!
I can't imagine accomplishing something and my first thought being to tell off someone who wronged me on the journey. It's comes off as incredibly trashy.

eugene was a warrior and a charge-taking machine. i'm enjoying the win for our team more than sticking it to eo.
Not easy to do when the team captain bails on his teammates in the middle of the night.
Thanks for leaving Eugene. Maybe we could've gotten there with you but we definitely got there without you.
